My husband and I stopped by tonight for the first time. 12/14/2024. It was absolutely amazing. The customer service was top notch.The food was a 10 out of 10. Real hamburger meat. No soy patties. Family oriented atmosphere. I would definitely recommend eating there.

This is a brand new BBQ joint in Taylorsville, MS featuring a good variety of barbecue meat plates, steaks, BBQ sandwiches and burgers. Their menu offers a kids menu option and for drinks they offer sweet and unsweet tea along with lemonade. They have a nice sized dining area with plenty of booth and table seating. I had the brisket plate with tater tots and coleslaw and the meat was nicely cooked and the sides were good as coleslaw and tater tots can be (although it was a mayo based slaw and not my preferred vinegar slaw but that vinegar style of coleslaw sadly doesn't exist in this area of the world it seems). The owner was also nice enough to let me sample a couple of his amazing burnt ends that had a fantastic flavor and I REALLY enjoyed those wonderful morsels of BBQ deliciousness! The staff is friendly and helpful and while it is mostly self serve once you get your order they will refill your cup with ice and beverage as they go past your table doing other things. The two areas where they really could improve things are:
1) adding fresh lemon or at least the lemon juice packs for the iced tea drinkers 2) having some BBQ sauce on the table or at least a little container of it served with your meal.
This Twisted Eatery is still very new so they will be adapting, adding and changing things as they learn what their local market wants so it will great to see what sorts of items they roll out as they develop their menu to offer what their customers desire. The location is very easy to access with plenty of street parking right in front. Overall this is a great addition to the area which only has a few restaurants and there are no other good BBQ options around town so this is definitely a NEEDED and REQUIRED food category every town should have as BBQ is a mandatory part of a healthy Southern diet.

My family ate at Twisted Eatery on their opening day. I got the pulled pork platter, and it was delicious! Employees are super friendly. Restaurant is very clean! I highly recommended trying this new place out!
