I stopped in for the $13.00 lunch buffet, which includes iced tea. This is hometown southern cooking at its best! Everything I tasted was delicious. The server was attentive and very friendly. I can't wait to return!

Ate at May's Restaurant for 1st time. Found out breakfast buffet ends at 9:45....then they switch buffet over to lunch. We were there around 10:30. Only a few patrons when we arrived...that changed very quickly as lunch crowd poured in! Buffet was nicely stocked. Servers were very friendly and attentive. All you can eat buffet with tea and a dessert for $12. What a deal!!!

There is a buffet with all things Southern - fried chicken, sweet potatoes, peas, fried okra, chicken fried steak, butter beans, salads, iced tea, cornbread, and the best egg custard pie I’ve ever eaten. Of course, there are many more choices, and it’s all delicious. Drive up around 10:30, and you’ll find the place is already packed with locals— and that’s always a sure sign that you’re in for a treat. It’s nothing fancy but May’s is a great place to eat.
