Very poor service. Waited 45 minutes after ordering before asking how much longer before our food would be out. We were told “we have a party of 40 in the back we need to serve”. Our order had not even been started. We chose to leave.

This place is famous with the locals and there's good reason for it. Great catfish, great food, and grateful service... as long as you understand why and what you came for. This is simple country dining done right. Just don't make the mistake and order the fish filets... it's the whole fried catfish that's gonna hit the spot. It's a little tricky to avoid the bones... but it's soooo delicious! (The fish filets are good too!)

Food was bland or too salty. The best thing on the plate was the canned bbq beans. 1 and done... I'm from New Orleans, so I know all about great seafood.

My chicken tender breading was soggy from the grease and was falling off . It was also so hot in the back room I could hardly enjoy myself because of it. Sad the food isn’t good as it use to be when I was a kid. The fish was also very greasy and soggy

I used to eat here on a regular basis. The last few times the food was greasy and overcooked. It was greasy to the point most of the food was left.

Absolutely, some of the best catfish, hushpuppies, and hamburger steak my wife and I have ever had. A small hole in the wall but absolutely a 5 star dining experience. Don't pass it by without stopping in. Worth every penny, not to say it's expensive at all.

Food was not very good this time it was in the past the hamburger steak has shrunk to half the size it used to be the onions on top were burnt the fried shrimp were terrible and my sons hamburger had no taste at all they must have a different cook because it sure shows I really loved eating there too but had a bad experience this time

Guess I shouldn’t have gotten chicken strips at a fish house, they were very thin and not good. But, the hush puppies were some of the best I’ve had. Husband said the fish and oysters were good.
