My chicken tender breading was soggy from the grease and was falling off . It was also so hot in the back room I could hardly enjoy myself because of it. Sad the food isn’t good as it use to be when I was a kid. The fish was also very greasy and soggy

Absolutely, some of the best catfish, hushpuppies, and hamburger steak my wife and I have ever had. A small hole in the wall but absolutely a 5 star dining experience. Don't pass it by without stopping in. Worth every penny, not to say it's expensive at all.

Food was not very good this time it was in the past the hamburger steak has shrunk to half the size it used to be the onions on top were burnt the fried shrimp were terrible and my sons hamburger had no taste at all they must have a different cook because it sure shows I really loved eating there too but had a bad experience this time

The fried catfish was quite possibly the best I've ever eaten. The seasoning was decent, but the texture was amazing. Every bite had the absolute perfect crunch, followed by a savory melt in your mouth finish. The shrimp were good and the oysters were ok, but the fish stole the show and will certainly bring you back for more. Very nice staff with a hometown feel.
