If you're driving down the Trace, this is a MUST stop. Burgers are great, beer is cold, Frank and company are fantastic. And if you're feeling like it, pick up a guitar or banjo and sing a song.
This was such a great find. Totally unexpected. If you don't stop you will regret it. Go in have a bite, grab a ?, Find Frank aka the owner and sit a spell. If Jo Jo is there you can get a history lesson. If you're lucky someone might just start singing.
We camped at the free NPS campground 6 miles south and saw a beer hall on Googlemaps. We decided to cycle over up the Natchez Parkway Trail and got here before sunset. We were met by a big bunch of bearded camouflaged gentleman who couldn't have been more welcoming to us if they tried.
