Great hidden gem. Menu every bit as good as a fancy 5 star place in Gulfport. Great prices also. Will definitely be a regular here.
We had a great experience at S&B.
They keep things simple & worth the short drive.
Short menu = all well prepared.
$$ pricing is very reasonable & a good value.
Service was well done, food came out fast.
The atmosphere was the people, not a fancy interior.
A great change of pace with food better prepared than several other tourist centric spots in town
Delish! Will be back! Fast, great service, home-cooked food. Had hamburger steak.
A must go to for us when we are in town. Start with the gumbo, fried oysters are THE BEST around and their steaks are delicious too. Those are my favorites!
Food was amazing. Best Roast Beef Poboy hands down
Wonderful home cooking
Great food and atmosphere! Definitely a return visit is warranted!
Excellent home cooking and super staff
Fried oysters - excellent! BBQ SHRIMP EXCELLENT head on - right now...meaning right out of the gulf. And the sauce/gravy is fantastic. 8 or so slices of Liedenhiemer (pretty sure) for sopping. Plenty of shrimp! Country fried steak, which I would never order nor really indulge for many reasons, but someone ordered one night and made me try it.... you can cut with a fork, and it's fried to perfection, not even a little bit greasy, terrific flavor - EXCELLENT. Side salad- EXCELLENT spring mix cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and croutons. All good. Staff is always friendly and thorough. Beignet Fries ... Just great. Lemon blueberry cake - light, fluffy, cake that's not overly sweet. Icing is also not thick and heavy. Not fancy..just delicious food and ICE COLD BEER - you can byob. People who know start rolling in right before 5. If you wait until 6, it will be close to full, but really never a wait. Tables turn over. I would eat there every night if I had the time. Extensive menu. Fresh baked potatoes, not like 200 N. Beach, which are blah at best.

This place is amazing. We have loved everything that we have gotten there to eat. The seafood plate is incredible. My favorite is probably the roast beef po-boy with gravy dripping off your elbows. My husband always gets the crab meat po-boy. They are a bit hard to find and harder to find a delicious one which we found here. A very casual dining experience, friendly staff, great customer service, and oozing with good old Southern Hospitality. I highly recommend.
