A bit loud when busy. Excellent service. Fried food is good and quite reasonable. No draft or craft beer. Very much a locals place. Out of the way in a small corner of Waveland. Plenty of parking.
Update, fried catfish is very good. Really enjoyed the eggplant fries. Not busy on Labor day weekend.

Great hidden gem, definitely recommend giving it a try if you are in the area. We enjoyed everything that we ordered and you could tell it was all made from scratch. Nothing was pre-made frozen product.

Great food!! However last two visits my drink sat empty at the bar and did not get a refill nor was I asked how my meal was. My bill was just slapped on the bar from the girl. She did not acknowledge just turned and walked away. Very disappointed.

We had a great experience at S&B. They keep things simple & worth the short drive. Short menu = all well prepared. $$ pricing is very reasonable & a good value. Service was well done, food came out fast. The atmosphere was the people, not a fancy interior. A great change of pace with food better prepared than several other tourist centric spots in town

A must go to for us when we are in town. Start with the gumbo, fried oysters are THE BEST around and their steaks are delicious too. Those are my favorites!
