Nice place. Excellent gumbo that I recommend; spring for the bowl because the cup is good you will want more. Oyster Po Boy was good too as was the grilled shrimp Po Boy. Service was okay. There is a 4% up charge if you pay via credit card.

The food was great. Had the crab cakes with a cup of gumbo. It was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was quick and friendly. Will definitely try again.

I had the seafood gumbo and a half of a catfish poboy. The seafood gumbo was good, not the best I've ever had, but still good. The catfish poboy was delicious. There wasn't too much breading, it was seasoned and cooked super well, the bread was so soft and came from a local New Orleans business, and it wasn't overloaded like so many poboys I've eaten.Honestly, for the first time there, my only complaints are for the "regulars." There was one couple (primarily the woman) who sat and watched me eating my gumbo while complaining about her or her husband's the whole time. I enjoyed it. It wasn't my favorite, but it was good. They were so RUDE, badmouthing it on top of watching me eat it. I felt bad and apologized to the hostess on their behalf once they left, and I got back, "It can't be that bad he comes back for it all the time."Parking: There's parking in front and on the side of the building (unpaved).Wheelchair accessibility: If you park in the front, you shouldn't have any issue getting in or out. The sides have gravel.

Simple joint, simple menu, good solid folks and damnfine Po-Boys! If you want anything beachy or showy or kitchy just go somewhere else. This place is solid.Softshell crab Po-Boys was as good as Johnny's I'm amazed! Chicken gumbo was great and finally I didn't have to drown a cup in Crystal. Most gumbo I find tasty but needing hot sauce. This cup wasn't hot just super tasty already.Prices are realistic and the service is no nonsense but friendly. This place is a gem!

S & B is a great local dive. The bbq shrimp are amazing! If you haven’t been, go early because the place is small and has limited staff.

I visited S&B during peak lunch hour on a Saturday (during cruising the coast) with a party of 4 and was seated immediately! Service was top notch. We all ordered the soft shell crab and it was honestly the best meal I have had in a long time! The food and service were both incredible! Definitely recommend, and will definitely be back next time I’m on the MS coast!

The food was excellent and the service was better. The food was by far the best that I've had in the area. The ladies behind the bar make the experience that much better. My group had the boiled shrimp, seafood platter and wings. Couldn't have done better myself.
