Ok, now THIS is the place! The hibachi grill gives you dinner and a show always entertaining and delicious. If you’re looking for something quieter, you can sit on the other side and still enjoy the great food. The sushi is fresh and so good, but the grill is the real star—everything is flavorful, and the shrimp is always perfectly cooked. Don’t even get me started on the yum yum sauce…it’s addictive! On top of the amazing food, the owner is one of the sweetest, most caring people I’ve ever met she always remembers names and makes it feel like home. Between the food, the atmosphere, and the people, this spot keeps me coming back again and again!

Was told that a single person can not be seated at the
hibachi table unless 2 are in your party. So next time I can go to gpt and get better quality service and food. If you order extra rice instead of vegetables they charge more

If I could give -5 stars I would the food sucks the lady who owns the place has a crappy personality and a bad attitude. I wouldn't feed that shity food to my dog. If you want really good japanese food go to Fuji Yamas in slidell there yaki soba beef is great you can actually chew the steak.

After going many times, I have to revise my review. For all of our visits, the sushi chef and food were excellent. My husband loves their sushi. The servers are awesome. Even my appetizers were good. However, the hibachi prepared by the kitchen has deteriorated to unsatisfactory. For several visits, my chicken and shrimp hibachi were over cooked. The shrimps were tough. The chicken, if you could find the tiny pieces, were dried out. The once good fried rice was over cooked, dry and missing egg. Vegetables were small and also over cooked. This last time I sent the plate back. Didn't have to pay for my dish. Really sad that the kitchen has deteriorated cooking hibachi. Maybe going to the hibachi room and having it cooked in front of you is better. If I go back, I'll stick with appetizers.

New visit. This time my chicken and shrimp hibachi was cooked fresh. Substantially better with chicken you could find. Even the rice was better and not overcooked. Would consider going back more often if the quality stayed with fresh hibachi from the kitchen. Their sushi is always outstanding.

Another visit and the hibachi was awesome. Whoever cooked my filet and shrimp did an amazing job. Vegetables were perfect size and tender. Rice was great and not dried out. Filet melted in your mouth and shrimp was not tough but perfect. Hope every visit is this good in the future. The sushi chef if terrific and his rolls are perfect. This visit was five stars!! So was this visit August 23. Sushi chef awesome as always. Service was great. Chicken and shrimp were good sized and plenty of vegetables. Degraded back to five stars!

Went in for dinner, and was enjoying the whole experience! Atmosphere is definitely an 11/10, service from our server (Brittany/Brittney) was top notch. She kept everything at a professional server level. From taking our drinks, the 5 or 6 visits between the meal, and even at the end. No flirty junk, no sarcasm, she just kept a smile on her face and her head on a swivel. And alas, the food... Honest opinion, their sushi beats all other sushi places hands down! Black Thunder roll is one of the best, hands down. The combination fried rice is awesome, with fat juicy cuts of steak. All in all, come hungry, and leave with to-go boxes. Definitely gonna make another trip!

Sat at one of the hibachi tables for my birthday and had the greatest experience! The hostess was welcoming, and the server was attentive and quick! The chef for our table was truly an experience to behold! Whole family had lots of fun and plenty of wine and sake all around haha

Very disappointed with this place...Waitress pleasant but inexperienced and lacking knowledge of menu...Two couples for dinner, one dinner came out then 12-15 minutes before remaining entrees arrived with no explanation or mention...Additionaly I ordered the Sashimi dinner at around $25.50 asking the waitress if it was possible to substitute whitefish for sweet shrimp, she said she would check and let me know if there was an issue, dinner arrived with sweet shrimp which were tiny...No issue until the bill arrived with a $16. upcharge...Manager traveled from table to table asking how everything was superficially then moving on to the next table before we could answer...When upcharge was mentioned she advised she would provide 2 additional shrimp next time we come in...That will not be happening...Food fair but weak for expensive price tag...

Avocado and peanut roll- Tasted good. Like the thin rice on roll. Ordered because I know it is what it says and is fresh. It wouldd be soooo much better if the peanuts were crushed. None of the seafood is fresh, crab not real, so I stick to veggies and non seafood/fish items. Edamme overcooked. The soup was bouillon, dehydrated onion, and mushrooms.
I would go back and get veggie stir fry maybe. It's super affordable...you get what you pay for.
