It's been around since before I was little, so personally, it should be a historic landmark like the post office. So, that's a long time, and the burgers and red hots still taste the same, and the drinks are cold. Inflation has made the prices go up, and that really doesn't make sense. The place stays packed out from before lunch for a couple of hours just about year-round. The wait time is not that bad, considering you're getting a fresh, hot burger straight off the grill. There are plenty of friendly faces to talk to while you wait. Most people know everybody, and nobody is ever a stranger. Best hole-in-the-wall burger joint in the country and I've pretty much been to them all.
My first time here. The burger was good but only 1 thing that I notice!! No one is wearing gloves as they cook and prepare your food. I feel like they handling a lot of things at once and gloves need to be worn for safety precautions handling food! Until I know for sure that gloves are used I won't be back. Please make this change before someone calls the Board ofHealth #TennesseeResident
Was there to order a burger. No one had gloves on, handling money and preparing food with no gloves. I canceled my order.
The food was good, The service was a bit slow. It took to long to get our order. The worst thing I saw was the workers handling the food and also handling the money which totally unsatisfactory. They had no gloves on. They should be wearing gloves. I am a resident of Southaven MS. I would not go back unless they were gloves and person cooking should only be dealing with food not the money. Money has all kind germs on it.
Love it
My favorite place of all time and love the people who work there
This might be the best simple hamburger I’ve ever had in my life. - and such a pleasant surprise- as it served as a road side stop on a longer haul trip
The one place I’ve always missed when I left Wayne county ughhhhhhh
The hubby loves the smash burgers. Reminds him of old hometown restaurant burger from "back in the day". Nothing fancy but good food!

Our first time there. Burgers were great but no fries. Food kinda pricey for just a burger and a bottled drink. They had chips but not many people eat chips with a burger at least we don't. We will be goingback

Been going here since I was little. Best little burger shack in the country. I think the grill should probably be in the Smithsonian Institute or something. It's like the secret ingredient to the flavor. Prices have gone up but you can't find anything that taste like this anywhere else. If you ever come to town, you have to try at least one of something; you'll be totally hooked.
