Our inaugural visit was a bit of a misfire. We inadvertently ended up on the BBQ side, and the staff's enthusiasm convinced us to give it a whirl. Unfortunately, the BBQ was over-salted, the ribs were tough as shoe leather, and the baked beans were, shall we say, not exactly tender. The smoked chicken, however, was a saving grace. We'll return, but with a newfound appreciation for the restaurant side.
I had the half chicken meal. It was phenomenal!!! The chicken had a great flavor and was practically falling off the bone. The green beans didnt need any churching up. They were already perfect! I also had the mustard potato salad, which was good. It was a little hot in there but I lived to talk about it....
This place has really good barbecue but the Pizza is to die for. It reminds me of a famous Dave's jr. Far as the ambience and atmosphere. The staff is awesome and the food is good.. try the pizza you will not regret it!
