Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

This Popeyes location was extremely unprofessional and disgusting, there was no one taking orders at the drive through we waited and finally just went inside. The inside stinks horribly, it was not maintained or anything, floors were wet, trash on the ground and just all around extremely bad. There were people waiting on food and in the drive through and the manager as well as another employee were just sitting there in the lobby, not doing anything. Extremely frustrating and disgusting.

How is it the bathroom smells better the lobby? One look over the counter and you see the kitchen floor and its disgusting. Place was straight up nasty!

Absolutely ridiculous. Theres no point in going to this Popeye’s they never seem to have chicken cooked and ready. They wait to cook the chicken until they get an order and then the customer has to wait for 15-20 mins while they cook the chicken. They don’t tell you how long your wait will be they just tell you to pull up and they’ll bring it out to you. It’s always dirty and smells horrible inside this restaurant. None of the employees take their job seriously they are to busy yelling back and forth at each other to remember they have an actual job to do. They have a sign out front by the drive thru menu that says they have strawberry biscuits on the menu but when you place an order for strawberry biscuits they tell you they don’t have those anymore. Honestly at this point the owner would be better off shutting the restaurant down, firing them all and hiring completely new staff because the money that’s being paid to these workers isn’t worth it.

Just got through waiting in drive thru for 40 mins, WONT BE BACK. Didn’t stick around cause we didn’t want to wait another 40 mins at the pick up window.

What is going with Popeyes!!! Long longs every time!!! Employees just standing around while we waiting in these long lines!!!

Ran by dirty, foul mouth, persons, ignored us for a good 10 minutes staf sitting in lounge cussing and looked filthy, clothes dirty, total lazy not in a hurry about anything, floor was flooded workers wearing rubber boots, we should have just walked back out but I kinda wanted to see just how bad of service this could possibly be, well it's ranked in the top 4 for sure, it was almost like they hated customers and work and have no ambition, what a shame I was thinking we love Popeyes in KC this is the motherland well I wonder if it's better here. Well it is not for sure. What a shame to have a brand and let it go to this at this location, also I did get sick after eathing here and am still having stomach issues. I am guessing maybe the coleslaw or the ice, I see why THE STATE is ranked in the bottom of the nation, it's the young people with no drive to perform, this was not just here but pretty much everywhere we went. So sad all the potential, you would think folks would want a good job and strive to pull themselves out of the poverty. I think maybe the state needs a reboot. No pride in themselves, not even sure how they make it to work. I saw one young man of color hustling doing food prep, the rest of the staff all slow dragging their feet and n̈ot working with any urgency. Manager did not seem to care as well. Whomever owned this store needs to shut down, fire most everyone, offer pay incentives, hire good quality hard workers and set the tone for excellence. You lucky the brand is carrying the store otherwise the doors would have been closed long ago based on others reviews as well as mine. Just sorry I did not read reviews first, Manager probably the first one that needs to go. Restroom was also filthy went in left did not even use it. Drove down to another location. Attention POPEYES COME HELP THIS PLACE. Customers be careful especially if you have children or elderly eating here.

Walked in with my boyfriend stood there over 8 mins never once was greeted or even looked at the workers were playing around laughing not doing their jobs I’ll never try this place again. TRASH

We waited over 20 mins on a mobile order. I think i could cook chicken tenders in 20 mins. The bad thing is I ordered ahead of time.

If this restaurant represented Mississippi it would be perfect. Horribly neglected and disgusting. Sink in bathroom was brown, mat under drink machine was disgusting and smelt sour, floor was slimy and covered in dirt, no soap in bathroom… which makes me wonder how are employees washing their hands?? Order was wrong and it was missing half of what I ordered. Kitchen has standing, cloudy water. No employees use gloves.

We stood there for 20 minutes. They didn't speak to us. Kept walking off. Other people had been waiting for a long time on their orders. We finally left. Management needs to do better!!!🤬

The service was awful. We waited for nearly 20 minutes to place our order. We were asked which sauces we wanted, but our meal came without sauce, napkins, or straws. My fry bag was not even half full.
