The service at this location is horrible. The Franchise should definitely engage with the license owner. It is hurting the brand! Wait times are atrocious and customer service skillsets are severely lacking at this restaurant. Recommend the owner conduct unscheduled site visits to obtain awareness of the internal operations hindering service and provide customer service training for all employees- starting with management. This review is based on the service provided Sunday, 21 November 2024 and from my observations from previous visits. I did not engage with the employees or shift supervisor but decided to write this notice to the franchise owner. “To know better is to do better”. Your customers deserve better.

I just left and will ( never) eat there again, when a worker acts from the beginning she doesn't care to wait on you, you ask for a 2 piece spicy dark with mash potatoes and biscuit, she goes and brings u 2 small chicken legs and says thats all the dark meat they have, then I said no mam that's not going to work just give me a breast or regular thigh, she then goes and slammed a breast on my tray and walked up and tried to hand it back shoving it to where the chicken almost flew off in my chest, I said I tell you what go get your manager, I got my money back, and never will be dumb enough to go back, this isn't the only time with dealing with no care attitude from this location, I've gotten an so have a lot of people in Waynesboro at different times since they opened, raw uncooked chicken with blood in it , I stopped coming back rite after they opened and like a fool went back, never again, I'm done with Popeye's uncaring, lack of respect

Our food was good, but another couple and their kids that was with us didn't get theirs for over 20 mins after we got there bc one of the worker's mom came in and they filled her order first b4 filling by the order number! Part of their order was sitting on the bar ready and got cold bc they had to recook the portion of their order that was given the woman's mom! So thee little kids had to eat COLD chicken and fries! Very frustrating! Others customers coming in while we were there were also saying they were NEVER coming back bc the service is SO SLOW and your food may be cold by the time they actually hand it to you even if you can see its ready bc sitting right there on the counter behind them!!
