Great BBQ every time!!! I have eaten here many times and never written a review until today. I called Ms. Pernell at 11:30 and was having my son's bday party at 2 and I told her how many I needed to feed, and she did the rest! The food was wonderful, service was great, what was supposed to be hot was hot and what was supposed to be cold, was cold. Thank you Ms. Pernell!!! It was wonderful!

Hands down they the best in town. You get a lot for your money and they do bbq right. Make sure you get that strawberry lemonade out front from the kids. Their food be the highlight of my weekend ? If you don’t like this place then your the problem and should re-evaluate your life because something wrong with you. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I love BBQ, and Pernell’s is the best. The owners care about the food they serve, and they also care about their customers. Great food and great people, that is what makes a great BBQ joint.
If I could give no stars, I would! I have NEVER in my life experienced the amount of rudest that I recieved from this pitiful excuse for a business today! Not only was my 10 year old completely ignored standing in line (they took the customer standing behind him like he wasn't even there) but also when my mother went in to see what was taking so long they were EXTREMELY ugly to her and all she was doing was inquiring of pricing.

I got the rib tips plate, pulled Pork plate, and Cheese burger plate. The rib tips were not very good at all. They were extremely tough. BBQ and Burger were good, but not spectacular. This place has a good reputation, so I’m going to try again in the future to see if it was a one off experience.
