This is a nice Mexican Restaurant in Wiggins,MS., a town where your food choices are very minimal. We were in Wiggins on our annual multi family camping week at Flint Creek Water Park. We had not been to Pericos in several years and decided to give the a try. A great decision. We were there for lunch so we tried the luncheon specials. The Tamale luncheon had a large, excellent tamale made with shredded beef with a complementary portion of corn masa covered in a delicious red beef sauce. Beans and rice were quite good. The Burrito luncheon had a very large burrito filled with ground beef and a little cheese, all covered with a good red sauce. The Burrito luncheon came with a large taco and rice. The menu had good selections. The prices were reasonable and the service was very friendly and prompt.

If you’re not a local, you will be ignored…our new to the area- family of four couldn’t wait to try this place..we were seated, and I guess an old family regulars walked in..no prob..They got served..we sat with no drinks, no chips, through 2 more tables, that came AFTER us, and they were greeted, and served. After 45minutes, we finally got up and left. (No one noticed) Had we been SERVED, I might actually be able to rate this place!! If u own a restaurant/business, remember to always be looking for new customers, no matter how reliable u think your current business is.

Very rude!!!! Walked in door & stood at entrance waiting to be seated for 15 minutes while several employees walked by without acknowledging us at all. After 15 minutes I stopped an employee & asked if we need to seat ourselves & he stayed no there is a 10 minute wait when there were several tables available even with covid restrictions of 6 feet apart!! We are from out of town & our first experience with this establishment & our last!!!
