Was out riding on the bike and found this place.. Super nice staff and really nice place to grab a beer. Super clean and welcoming to all. If you're running the Trace or just need a destination this is a great place. Have pool tables, nice bar, nice outdoor space. Will have to come back when they have band! Only 2 miles off Trace and worth the stop!

This was our first time here. The food and ambience were great. The service was slow but we were told they only had one bartender. It took 10 minutes for a wine refill.

From start to finish, everything was excellent! Our apps included shrimp skewers, clams, and fried pickles. Dinners of salmon and the pork chop were flavored and cooked perfectly! We can't wait to go back!

We always want to love this place. Has a great vibe and such a beautiful setting. With that being said, parking lot is rough because there are golf carts everywhere. Servers are always overwhelmed or too rushed to even stop to acknowledge you asking for something. They are always short on silverware, glassware, etc. Menu does not match what is posted on website (actual website, not open table or FB). And they are constantly out of menu items. There was live music and the guy was fantastic but the sound was so loud we couldn't even converse at our tiny table. Want to love it, food is fine, drinks so so, but still needs work.

The buffet for Mothers day was excellent. The prime rib was perfect and delicious! Our server, Amy was amazing!
For the cost of the mothers day brunch it should have been more. The eggs were under cooked, the waffles were over cooked. No juices were included. There were no pastries or desserts. No breads or bagels. Our waitress was not around at all. It was not a pleasant visit. We probably won't be back.

I've been to backwoods many times because I love the ambience but the food is just meh. On New Year's Eve though it was very good. Service was top notch. Blood orange margaritas are delicious!
