Prices pretty hefty, fish delicious
The OWNER here are very RUDE and we were wet and cold so we came in to warm up and we ordered food and was treated like we were inconveniencing her and a nuisance. I'd not recommend this place for people who aren't from this area.
Food and prices are great. The staff is very attentive.
We have been to 3 North many times ans have never been disappointed in the food. Highly recommend the Pork Medallions. They also have great fish!!
Hidden Gem in the Billings area. Had a fantastic meal there, and we will return. The steaks were flavorful and seasoned just right. The only thing I did not get that I wanted was a baked potato since they had sold out. It's not a fancy place but it is very comfortable.
If you want good service, this is not the place to go. I gambled in their casino, not once did someone check on me. I came up to the bar to cash my tickets and get my drinks. I cashed over $800, left a $100 tip, had to pay for my drink and didn't get any service. The owner waited on me. A group of guys came in, some came into the casino, a waitress came in and waited on all of them. Not once did I get asked if I needed anything and I had been there over 2 hours. I work in customer service and this is the worst I have experienced. I don't know how they expect locals to patron their business.
Very good food
Probably the best cooked steak in the area.
The burger was an intriguing composition—succulent, well-crafted, and thoroughly satisfying. But it was the French fries that truly shone, crispy and golden, a true standout. And to my surprise, finding a perfectly executed crème brûlée here felt as delightful as that brief, heart-skipping glance I caught of the tomboy cook. Yet, the crowning moment belonged to the cheese curds—unquestionably the best I’ve ever tasted. Paired with a raspberry chipotle dip, the flavors blended into a sweet heat that elevated the experience to something unforgettable.

If you style yourself a foodie, this isn't the place for you. The calamari appetizer looks straight out of the freezer section at any superstore. We thought it was mozzarella sticks! My friend's steak was overcooked and flavorless. He had to salt it liberally, and he's a guy who just doesn't salt his food over much. I had the beef medallions. They were supposed to be in a red wine reduction. Imagine my dismay when they were presented in a boat, swimming in a pool of brown gelatinous goo. It looked and tasted like brown gravy mix with a little red wine tossed in. The onion rings were awful, and the only thing that was pretty good were the beer battered fries. The service was excellent, however, and we did leave a good tip. We were just very disappointed, because a dear friend of mine had raved about the superior food and beautiful, clean atmosphere. I guess we don't have the same standards when it comes to 'good' food. Maybe the burgers are delicious. I'm not saying don't try it, but don't order the (expensive) beef medallions or the calamari appetizer.... And if you like a good, medium rare, juicy steak, well, I don't think you'll find one here.
Edit: I appreciate the owner responding. Thank you! We were there for our 33rd wedding anniversary, and we didn't want have a negative interaction connected to an otherwise beautiful day. To be honest, these days ya really never know how a complaint will be received. More often than not, management is shockingly rude and dismissive. It's a chance we didn't want to take. I do believe your cook needs to learn what a red wine reduction is. I mean, it was truly awful. I genuinely thought it was brown gravy mix, and it was also just lukewarm, and looked a little like leftovers. I'm sorry, but I can't take back what I said about the food. It was terrible. But again, the service was very good.

The wait staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Everything was cooked exactly as ordered and was beyond delicious! It's a little bit of a drive out from Billings, but it is definitely worth it. You won't be disappointed.
