First time visiting this bar. Had a wonderful time. Under new owners. They are nice and pleasant to be around. The bar r is a very laid-back chill atmosphere. Have couches for socializing with groups. Would recommend if you get a chance to visit this bar.

Charged for refills on a soda from the gun?! It cost them less than $1 for all three but I have to pay $2 per glass they filled up. No thanks!

What can I say about this bar that hasn’t been said? I’ve been coming here for 25 years. I worked here for 10+ years. My friends and family socialize here. My children have all “bellied up” to the bar for a bottle of root beer. I’ve seen wonderful live bands here, laughed here, and cried here. A lot of people consider this bar THE bar in town for good conversation and wonderful memories. Upon hearing this week that it will be shutting down and replaced by a trendy, expensive, speak easy themed bar my heart has broken. There aren’t too many culturally significant bars left in town and it’s obvious that this one should be protected. The patrons enjoying the harp last night all stated they would be abandoning this wonderful Anaconda staple for another watering hole. I wish the new owners would reconsider destroying the charm and wonderful memories a lot of locals have come to love about The Harp. Something special like this should be preserved for the people of this town, not for tourism or cute expensive themes. I truly hope the new owners will reconsider, they don’t realize how upset folks are going to be.
