New owners do a fantastic job in the restaurant. Limited menu, but that is good. Service was quick and portions were sizable. Smoked meats are a real treat. Will be a regular stop for us.
We didn't stay at the resort but ate dinner at the dinner. We had great service. The food was great. I had the mushroom Swiss burger. It was delicious. Our party ordered the garlic cheese curds. They were the best I ever ate. The prices are reasonable for the area. I would recommend this place to eat. We would go there again. It has a great view of the lake. There are tables to go sit by the lake and enjoy a drink and beer.
This place is made by its people and service. Food in the bar is good and hearty. Breakfasts are really good. I would advise against staying the night here though. They turned off the water the night I was there and try en apologized for doing so the next morning. While rooms are clean and not uncomfortable, my mattress was fit into a waterbed frame, so getting in and out of bed was interesting.
