We ordered take out for dinner, and everything was amazing! I had the chicken fried steak breakfast, and it was all perfect especially the gravy! My husband had a delicious burger and chili cheese dog! We even got oreo cheesecake for desert, which I'm sure will be delicious, but that will have to wait for us to have more room! Everything came out quick, hot and beautifully presented even in the togo boxes! Thank you for such a great dinner! And thank you such great friendly service!

I had the hangout sandwich and it was the hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had!!!! The owner and other staff were so friendly and outgoing. The space was dark and moody but wasn’t claustrophobic

They deserve a 10+ eventhough the highest rating is a 5. Our food was great. My sandwich was so good, my soup was superb, and it was hard to choose a drink because the selection is huge. They have the very best coffee especially for a cold day. Friendly people and cozy atmosphere. My compliments to the owners for making my lunch time enjoyable. I will be going back.

I was really craving pancakes. The kind I would have with my grandparents as a kid, at a little spot in Melrose so long ago. Not an easy thing to find it seems. These hit the mark! They were fluffy, flavorful and had that unique and delicious old-fashioned diner style taste to them. Eggs were perfect, sausage also yummy. Wonderful service! I like that both lunch and breakfast are served all day. So happy I stopped!

This place has a very local feel to it. Nothing super fancy, but was cozy .Service was excellent! They were short staffed the day we came and had been waiting awhile for our small order to come out, the manager/owner?noticed and came to the table to talk to us and gave us a discount. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. The soup and sandwich we had were tasty! I would return here

The only thing I would change is adding the option to pay anywhere from $5 to $8 extra for multiple returns to The really nice salad bar. Also, please put balsamic vinegar on the salad bar for those of us who prefer that to salad dressings. Thanks for another great lunch!
