These are great pasties! We use to have a local eatery that produced pasties but they closed 10+years ago. The first time I bought these at my local store I was prepared to be disappointed but, I wasn't, instead I was very satisfied with everything about them. I can recommend both the beef and the breakfast pastie. Both have only the ingredients necessary to make the item, nothing that isn't and importantly NO chemicals! This is the best place to get pasties in the world! I recommend anyone that is in Montana stop by and pick up one of each, breakfast and beef. Put a little gravy on top after you cook it and enjoy a little slice of heaven.
It is nice they have a store front since they are a fairly large production making over 700 pasties per day (according to the counter guy we chatted with). The counter guy who stopped his baking to help us hooked us up with a hot out of the oven beef Pasty.The Pasty itself was pretty good. I would liken the crust crust to pot pie crust and the filling tasted similar to a breakfast hash. It was hardy with a good crust to filling ratio.Happy I gave it a try.
