We missed the Pig Race season, but were very surprised at the wonderful atmosphere, service and food. The entire experience was awesome. Highly recommend making a stop at this place.

What a great experience for something so unique you can’t get anywhere else. A small town and the excitement of the pig races. Fun had by all ages, bachelorette parties and we were celebrating a birthday. The piggies are well tended to, a fun time had by all. Don’t forget to tip the pig wranglers!

Friday night fun for the whole family. 2.5h drive from Bozeman, so we stayed overnight in Laurel (50m drive). We had 4 adults-2kids, burgers all around + a greek salad. Burgers were good, Salad terrific. Service excellent: prompt, Montana friendly, great sense of humor (what you’d hope for in a Montana #Saloon).
People all around us had steaks & baked spuds (looked and smelled DELICIOUS). Full bar (super cool old zig-zag bar where we’ll return without the grands) & plenty of MT brews available.
This ol’ Montana Saloon has a fun, eclectic, historic vibe, truly fun for all ages.
We specifically came for the #pigraces and it did not disappoint. It was worth the drive from Belgrade & Bozeman but stayed in Laurel for ease and a Sat morning #ZooMontana excursion.
Bring some cash to bet on the pigs and get yourself some fun pig swag. Money raised is for charity, college scholarships for local kids (they even changed a local law to make it happen!)

Looking to have some fun at dinner? This is the place! The menu is small but boy were the steaks great! It’s loud and boisterous but everyone is smiling! The pig races are the big draw and they don’t disappoint. You can bet on the races and winners get $50! The rest goes to a local scholarship fund…very cool! The pigs were great. I recommend getting your spot on the railing right away but if you can’t see one race, folks will switch out so you can see the next one! Really fun experience!

Unfortunately, I was not able to eat here. I waited too long to make reservations, but I heard the food was great. We did go to the pig races, which are a blast and highly recommend.

We drove 2 hours out of the way to eat there to find out that they refused to seat us without a reservation even though they had empty tables
Go for the steak dinner and stay for the pig races! Reservations recommended

Pig races were fun but need more spectator friendly room. Bleachers? Long wait for food requires reservations.
