5+ stars for the pig races. As a traveler I have to say this is one of the worst steakhouses I've been to across this country. First time trying local Montana beef and as I'm sure it is fantastic but it was not my experience sadly. From the stressed hostess to the waitress who barely checked on me to the over cooked bison ribeye, it is definitely not a 5 star dive. I can only imagine the reviews are so high due to the extremely limited choices in the area.

Did not have dinner but understood it was good from others there. Bar service was good. Enjoyed the pig races even though my pig didn't win ?

Food and service was on point. We had a blast. We did bring 2 kids, and we didn't realize how loud it was going to be inside the restaurant. Our toddler had a bit of sensory overload (but this isn't bear creeks fault) the servers were really helpful with getting food she would eat. The rolls were awesome. Afterward we were able to go watch the pig races and our toddler happily played on the kids castle out back.
Kid-friendliness: The play equipment in the arena out back was great for kids

It was a very easy check in/check out process. The rooms are adorable..

Their sound system is completely insufficient. When you bet on their board they will not tell you who is assigned the pig. Complete waste of money. Do not recommend! Just a Karen giving an honest opinion. Not sure if I won as they won’t even say. Waste of time and money. Yes I spoke to the owner.
Only open a few days a week now.

This an old west style saloon and steakhouse. The flatiron steak I had was one of the best steaks I have eaten in several years.
Make sure you stay for the pig races!

Great food, excellent waitress, but the the tackiness of the hostess coming to our table, picking up the condiments basket and telling us to take our drinks outside and leave the table for the next reservation. We were not even there for a full hour. Very TACKY!
Food was bland with no seasoning on an overpriced steak. If you are doing the pig races make sure to have lots of time. There is 15 mins between every 15 sec race. If you are into tourist traps then I recommend this place, but if you are looking for good food and friendly service I recommend elsewhere.

If you are in the area, do not miss the chance so stop in for their amazing food. If you time it right you can also see where pigs DO fly!
