We are currently traveling around the west, hunting good dive bars and people. Had seen this bar on the Google, and we pulled in. They weren't open yet, but the owner was outside and opened up the bar for us early. This bar has a killer vibe, my favorite so far from CO, WY, MT, ND it's the best. The fact they opened up early and we got to chat with the 3rd generation owner made it even better. Hopefully we can make it back and spend a night there making bad decisions.

Stopped in a couple days for the Beartooth Rally Poker Run. Enjoyed grilled cheeseburgers and cold drinks. Very friendly staff!

The perfect Montana bar in a town with no stop lights. 50 yr old pickled egg recipe. Pool and video gaming. Occasional poker game and fun jam night with local giggers. Jennifer and Larry are wonderful people and a true asset to Carbon. I won the Pioneer Days Poker Tournament in 2009 and instantly became a Clark's Fork legend (in my own mind) JPW

Kid-friendliness: Typical Montana Kid Friendly, our kids are scared of going to hell for just enjoying life. We teach life, not delusional utopia like the belt.
