Ever had a craving and instead of being disappointed you find… The Mint. During a 10 hour drive I decided I wanted a great steak, a shrimp cocktail and French onion soup.
Got to town, booked a hotel and filled up w gas. The guy at the next pump, a local, makes a joke about how over packed my car is. We started chatting and I asked him for a dinner recommendation. “The Mint,” he says.
The local beer list was awesome and the menu had everything my heart/appetite desired. Everything was simply perfect.
Need to call out the service. My server was Leila. She helped me choose a beer and chose my glass of red for me. She was very busy but always made time to check in and chat a little. Made me feel special. The whole team was awesome and as a restaurant owner myself I loved seeing them do their thing. Mad respect.

We love coming here and have been regulars for 10 years now.
The portion size is beyond ridiculous. One square piece of salmon and corn. The chicken fried chicken had virtually no mashed potatoes. You offer no extras like bread we left there still starving. Had to go to Dairy Queen for more food. I will never be back.

I used to go here often but since a new owner took over i have not been here in some time. We went on a Wednesday evening and fortunately it was not too busy. Our server was not on the best. Once we were given menus and ordered appetizers we were not asked if we wanted another cocktail which we had already order from the bar prior to being seated. We had a very good appetizer and we waited and waited for it to be cleared to the point of us stacking dishes at our table for the server to notice an pick up. I actually saw this at 3 other of her tables too. The main house came out and we were not checked on for quite a while. I ordered my steak medium but it was definitely cooked well. Our server asked what she could do to fix it but I had already eaten most of it out of hunger and the lack of attention to us. I had to ask for another glass of wine for my date as well. Stacking dishes again finally they were cleared. I saw others doing the same thing at there tables as well. We were not asked if we wanted dessert so I asked her for the bill.
Overall the service was meh at best, the main course for me was cooked incorrectly, dry and mostly flavorless. The server was able to help us on the bill for the steak situation but overall we will not be returning anytime soon.
