We had the best dinner tonight at the Timber! Had some sort of a steak French dip and it was the BEST sandwich I have had in years. I will definitely be back soon.

Was staying across the street for the night and stopped in for dinner. Such a wonderful place and it was packed. Had a couple drinks and a burger while I read my book at the bar. Servers were quite friendly and I enjoyed listening to the two guys that were making the burgers. Servers knew quite a bit of the people which led to a comfortable atmosphere.

Cool bar to drop into on a Tuesday driving thru! Bars was clean, they cook right there in the bar open kitchen. Staff was great, pleasant to talk with and hear about the area. Burgers were good! They say best in town, but we only ate one burger in town so I'd have to agree.

This is a great bar! I had vehicle problems and ended up spending many days in Big Timber. The people at the bar made me feel at home. The food is delicious, the staff is awesome. A special shout out to Amanda, thank you for being such a wonderful person. They towed me to Billings so I never got a chance to say goodbye. The town, and Timber Bar will always be a fond memory, even with the bad situation I was in.

Ate there last night. Place wasnât busy. We got our seat and ordered drinks which came quickly. We ordered our food. Chicken for me and the prime rib special for him, should have read these reviews first. Food came. Waitress was friendly but that was the last we saw of her. My chicken was fine but the prime rib dinner was beyond awful. The thinnest piece of prime rib I have ever saw. It was ordered medium rare and was at best well done. It had a horrible Smokey taste too. The baked potato was cold so we did ask the bartender for another. He went to the kitchen area and we could see them feeling all the potatoes. The cook came over and told us they had someone new and they had plugged the warmer in the wrong outlet. No offer of another side or replacement, The au jus was cold also and the butter for the baked potato seemed to be some kind of whipped margarine that left a greasy film in your mouth. Furthermore most of the staff seemed to be under the influence of something. Either that or they just had a donât care attitude. All in all it was an extremely disappointing visit to somewhere we have been at many times. Wonât be returning there anytime soon. Sad to see somewhere that was pretty good be at this level.
