This is the best coffee shop in billings. The barista made a great Ethiopian wush wush pour over. The cottage was good too. The atmosphere of the shop is great too. Come here if you’re in billings.

My Oh My, I absolutely adore the nursery vibe and the coffee here! It’s the perfect combo. The staff was super friendly and efficient, even with all the people coming and going. I tried the Coast Special, my sister had a Lavender Italian Soda, and my friend had a London Fog. Out of all the Black Dog shops I’ve been to, this one truly nailed it. Their other location just can’t compete. The food service was also top-notch. My sister and I were chatting, and a really nice guy even cleared our table for us. Wow, what service!

Black dog is my fav coffee shop in Billings. Coffee is always excellent, no flavoring required, and bonus points for carrying both real and stumptown beans. Also, love that it’s in Roots garden center. The gift shop and garden center are fun to wander with my latte in hand.

Popped into Black Dog Coffee Shop on a quiet morning and had a mocha along with a coffee cake muffin. Both were quite fine,much like what you’d find in most cafés of this type. The mocha was warm and sweet enough, and the muffin had that familiar, just out of the wrapper feel that one comes to expect from a standard coffee outing.

The atmosphere was pleasant, if unremarkable. Of the two staff members present, one was delightfully warm and welcoming, the sort of person who makes you feel you’ve made a good choice by walking in. The other, while polite, gave off the impression they’d rather not be disturbed which, to be fair, is sometimes a mood I understand.

All in all, Black Dog is perfectly serviceable. If you’re nearby and need a caffeine fix, it will do the job.

My favorite coffee shop in town! Dog friendly and great breakfast along with their coffee! Favorite breakfast burrito in town and love the almond croissants!!

I went to the location on 24th and the first girl didn't even greet me just said rudely, "she'll help you over there". oh,ok so I moved over and the 2nd girl did say hi but didn't ask what size I wanted. After the coffee was done all I heard was "here's that Americano for you". No thank you or have a nice day or see you again. Absolutely were not friendly at all. The coffee itself was horrible and weak. I can get better coffee at the gas station. Thank you for serving me today but I will not be back.

Just so you are aware. I ordered on line and got confirmation email and text but when I got there this morning they hadn’t received the order. Something went wrong with your system. Just wanted you to know so you don’t miss other orders!
