My husband and I had dinner at Ciao Mambo yesterday for our two year wedding anniversary. We were informed of the long wait time, but we were more than willing to wait. We ordered our pastas and added a Caesar salad on the side. I unfortunately forgot to mention that I have a mushroom allergy and was not aware that the salad came with mushrooms until it arrived at our table, but our server was super kind and quickly took the salad away and asked for a new salad to be made mushroom free for me, and also wanted to ensure that my entree would not have any mushrooms near it. The rest of our meal was absolutely delicious. We loooooooooove the fresh garlic bread. I loved my linguine with meatballs. Huge portions that are worth every penny. This is hands down my favorite Italian and pasta restaurant by far. Thank you for helping to make our anniversary dinner special.

Tried a few times - food was always exceptional. Service and wait time for food were horrible. Our waitress paid minimal attention to our table the entire time- finally after almost 2 hours we requested our food to go and left

Exceptional food, but very disappointing service. Our waitress, Ashley, paid 0 attention to our table the entire evening not to mention having to go up to the bar to request the check and boxes after waiting for 20 minutes.

Food: Delicious! It tastes fresh and lots of flavor!!! The entire meal was great. Loved the pasta dishes!! The bread could have been warmer.
Service: Our server was friendly and attentive. We had lots of care from others as well.
Atmosphere: Definitely crowded and a little tight in space. Dark lighting and has a very authentic vibe.

Look, it’s not the best but it gets the job done. Replacement-level Italian fare that you could probably cook at home. They’re clearly running a volume business and judging by the crowds, business is good. If you want pasta or something a little more inspired, I’d try Marble Table, Walker’s, Stacked, Bin 119, The Granary, or Bistro Enzo before going here.
Restaurant decor is a little tired and the dining room is dark, dingy, and badly in need of a deep clean. Good luck finding close parking, especially on the weekends, although it might be a little better now that construction is over. Definitely call beforehand to get on the waitlist.

Great food and atmosphere! I had the chicken parmesan. It was cooked to order, so it took a little bit, but the garlic bread held me over. It was well worth the wait! Portion size was huge and more than I could eat. I sat at the bar and the service was excellent. If I had been in town another couple of nights, I probably would have gone back for another visit!
