Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We love our Cracker Barrel in Billings, Mt.# 346. We have been frequently visiting since it’s beginning. We love the down home cooking, the awesome gift shop & our new favorite thing about our store is a new hire. Her name is Raynee & she is the best thing to happen there!!

My server in Billings, MT. and she was AMAZING!!!! Very friendly and courteous! Her personality is great also. We need more people like her around. She deserves a raise!

I love this place! Have never had a bad meal. Service is excellent, but I am sad to say that yesterday July 17th was the absolute worst service I have ever had! Sarah was our server and she was not zoned in on anything she was doing. I asked her for lemons for my water 3 times. My husband finally got up and asked someone else for them. Our food took over 45 minutes to be served. I do believe she forgot to put the order in. We will be back but not going for her as our server. I left her no tip!

I love the store. If you need a fun, delightful gift for someone, the Ceacker Barrel store is the place to start. There is a whole lot of very happy, unique gifts in the store to bring joy to everyone... shopper and receiver. Go, eat a fabulous meal then spend time in the gift shop. You will leave very happy. I generally like Cracker Barrel restaurants. In most cases the food is consistent from store to store no matter where you dine. My meal last night was not at all up to par. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with greens, pinto beans and orca. The chicken was very salty. I even ask my wife to taste it and she agreed. The beans were cold as were the greens. I asked for pepper sauce for the greens. The top of the container came off spilling most of the contents of the bottle.
It was not an enjoyable meal.

Would I go back? Most likely as this was not my typical experience. If it were to happen again I would have to make another dinning choice.

With the cost of eggs I had to send back my over medium because they came out over easy...the cook fixed it to overhard 🤔 server was top notch

Gabrielle, our fabulous server was absolutely the best we've ever experienced at Cracker Barrel in Billings, MT. We hope to get her station every time we visit. As far as Atmosphere: it could be a bit warmer in the seating area (it's winter in Montana, after all) and I wish there was a way to dampen the loudness in the dining room. Sometimes it's so loud, it's difficult to talk to other folks at our table. Overall, we do enjoy dining at Cracker Barrell.

Worst burger I've ever had. Like a pound of seasoning 4 pickles all end pieces no ketchup mustard onions or tomato and they forgot the fries!

We waited to be seated for over a half an hour and was told they were waiting to clear a table. They seated several people before us that were on the list for a minute. I had a party of six and it would've brought in a lot money. I will never be back and I'll be sure to let people know what the service was

Been awhile since we visited. Our waitress would not look my husband in the eye and only talked to me.
Food was ok and I have had way better. Portions containing meat have definitely decreased in size. Everything we had was half the amount of what we have gotten in the past. I realize commodity prices have risen, but raise prices a bit and serve a decent size.
We decided to try their take home meals for $6. Didn't actually look at food until we got home, 2.5 hours later. The meatloaf with Mac and cheese looks like it was made for a small child. One tiny little piece of meatloaf. The chicken with Mac and cheese actually has 2 pieces of chicken.
Most likely won't be going back anytime soon.
