2nd time at Dickeys!!! We absolutely love the food!!! We enjoyed brisket, ribs, kielbasa & chicken!!!! YUM!!!We picked coleslaw, greenbeans w/bacon, baked beans, & excellent fried okra! We took home an additional meal to heat up the following night! We both agreed, we'd have to return to Dickeys soon!!!!

Dickey's has a great atmosphere for what you want in a BBQ place. However , It doesn't smell like meat cooking, and it was empty. So not great signs. This was Friday night. I ordered everything to go, and it was all ready when I got there, and the people working were pleasant. I got a Baked potato with pulled pork. It was still raw. I had to do a lot of nuking to get it somewhat edible. No one wants a crispy..crunch baked potato. The pork tasted fine. My kids got the ribs, and they said they like them. I tried one of their fries on the way home, and it wasn't very warm and it was not tasty. The sides all look and taste like they come in a big vat on a truck, and they scoop it out into individual containers. I'm thinking the only thing they cook themselves is the meat...but i'm not really sure, because I couldn't smell any meat cooking. I came at night, so that could be why, but you still would expect a lingering? Anyways, I think your place would be much better if you had some more homemade, authentic sides. And check if your your potatoes are cooked.
