“The Local is easily one of Billings' best restaurants. Sitting at the bar with a full view of the kitchen and watching the staff interact is a privilege that enhances the entire experience. Then there is the food. Oh, the food. Have you ever had a meal so good sometimes you catch yourself daydreaming about it months or years later? A smell or a sound will trigger the memory and you can't help reminisce out loud.. "Remember when we had _____ at the Local?" It's the kind of meal I've come to expect when eating here and have never been disappointed. In fact, they somehow keep seeming to raise the bar, with their newest menu blowing my mind just last week. I didn't know that candied bell peppers would be such a delight so simple, yet so perfect as a garnish that they have me yearning for just one... more... bite. The attention to detail, quality of ingredients, innovative menu, top shelf staff and service all blend into an unforgettable experience that is exactly what eating out should be.“
