“Absolutely love Spitz on the west end. Food is delicious, reasonably priced for what you get and friendly service. Most recently, however, myself and 3 others came in around 8pm on Saturday night. While the food was great and service good the cashier that took our order had a few friends sitting up at the bar stools just hanging out. Not necessarily a problem in and of itself but when 2 of her visitors left to go get smoothies a couple doors down they asked her what she wanted while we were trying to order and yes she answered them with her smoothie request. She never asked for my number for my rewards points but another gal was able to get it after the fact(I think it worked). While we were sitting there eating the girls came back with the smoothies as well as more apparent friends and they sat up at counter talking and visiting for quite awhile. I get the vibe of restaurant encourages lounging or visiting while eating and playing games or whatever, but I think employees might need a lesson in customer service etiquette and not have friends hanging out with drinks from somewhere else and not eating spitz food .“

“My friend & I stopped in for a quick lunch and I had my first grilled cheese in over 5 years. It was absolutely delicious! I also stocked up on some gluten-free baked treats but I’m also allergic to coconut so I wasn’t able to get all of the things I’d have liked to.“

“I honestly can’t satisfy my appetite when I buy just one bowl of this AMAZING FOOD. It’s so rich, so many flavors perfectly melded together to create more than just a meal, it’s a portrait of everything food should be, depending on your individual taste and ingredients you choose. The price you have to pay will in most cases be high, being contingent on what you choose to incorporate into your custom meal.
The atmosphere is satisfactory, but I find the music too loud.
The service is naught to rave about, I have had experiences where they trick you into buying something that they give you the impression is free. BE CAUTIOUS when ordering at this restaurant.“

“Stopped in while on a road trip through Montana. Unique dining experience instead of the typical downtown cafe. The restaurant was very clean and the design / decor was so cool. The French dip sandwich was excellent and a great portion. The BLT was more than my wife could eat and the bacon was plentiful! We topped it off with the Mountain Berry Split….amazing!“
