I'm spoiled being from Washington. the further east you got the worse the coffee get's. I always come here because the coffee stand is small, reminds me of home, privately owned by a local, and last but not least the coffee is not bitter. it is very rich and smooth, outclassing every other place in town. This is how coffee is made and served!

Sometimes a coffee place that knocks you over with service and taste can fall off the cliff into "meh". It depends on time of day and the person working. So far, Grit N Grind hasn't sunk into mediocrity. Each time, I've been welcomed by a cheerful (seriously -- at this hour of the morning?) person who can prepare a great cup of coffee. I haven't asked what brand they use because it doesn't always matter and I'm not that much of a coffee aficionado. Grit N Grind have all the usual coffee and non-coffee options. Whatever your tastebuds are seeking, you'll find it here.All I know is that I've been the recipient of great service and tasty coffee.
