We went back in May and the entire experience was horrible. I didn't leave a review then to try to be nice but since I've seen the owners comments online, I've got to give a review of our experience. I got a burger and fries which wasn't bad but the other two in our party ordered breakfast and it was a total disaster. Neither one got their entire meal, we had to remind the waitress what was supposed to be included, and only some of the missing items came so much later, we were done and just over the entire experience. When we did get toast, it was cold and the hashbrowns were BLACK on one side and RAW on the other. Totally disgusting and waste of money. We will never be back, not only because the food and service sucked, but also because the owner can't take responsibility, accountability, and says folks who don't want to eat this swill just shouldn't eat out anywhere. LOL What a joke!

Came here for breakfast on 7/18. Several of the open tables were dirty and there was no one in the restaurant eating but the waitress was sitting in the back on her phone. We placed our orders and it came out promptly. I was missing my hash browns and the waitress started arguing with me about it. When she realized her mistake she put the order in. No refills on our drinks and she never came back to the table to ask if the food was alright. This place was much better when it was Hits the Spot Cafe. The food was good but the service was not. So I get a response back from them and instead of apologizing, the "owner", who was not there when we arrived, decides to refute almost everything I said. Nice way to run a business. I sat and watched as both of them were on their phones the whole time we ate. If you're going to argue with everyone who comes through or has a review that you might not like, you won't be open for much longer.

Home style food in this cafe located in the same building as the live stock arena.Server was attentive and friendly. Food was fine but not outstanding.

Parking: Since the building also has the live stock arena, there is plenty of parking for truck/trailers

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options

Cozy local place with the friendliest waitress I’ve had in a long time. She really wanted to take care of us, and the food was delicious! She was happy to make a substitution since they didn’t have gluten free bread (she offered cottage cheese as an option and I took it). I got the Heifer Skillet (so yum, and filling enough to save leftovers for later). My son got the steak and eggs and really enjoyed it.

Dietary restrictions: No gluten free menu, but good options and they are happy to work with you.

Parking: Ample parking, except (we heard) on Saturdays during the auctions, which are held in the same building.

Kid-friendliness: The waitress took time explaining things to my son (meat doneness, ways of cooking eggs).

Awful place to eat. The buffet was so expensive & probably worst food I have tasted in my life! How are they able to stay in business???

Horrible!!!! Gave the benefit of doubt and went 3 times, every time was gross. Fries on 2 occasions were half cooked and soggy. Nothing better than that raw potato flavor. Club sandwich was a soggy mess, my fingers literally poked thru the bread, chicken fried steak sandwich, how you can make something with inherent flavor taste like nothing, wow. Cow chips I'm guessing were frozen because they were all stuck together and only cooked on the outside and yummy raw and potato white in the middle. Save yourself the trouble and go to the gas station. The lady serving was nice.

Came out for Valentine's dinner special and was NOT disappointed! In fact, I was very impressed! The service was wonderful, I loved the quiet, relaxed atmosphere, and the food was amazing! When it comes to cooking a steak, only my husband cooks a better one! It was cooked just the way I like it, it was tender and juicy, and it had a lot of flavor! We left fat and happy. Thanks for a wonderful evening, and we'll see you on the next go 'round!

Wheelchair accessibility: The café was easily accessible (no bumps, steps, or lips, the doors were light and easy to open, and the tables were perfectly spaced.

Slow, disinterested service. Food took forever (2 customers, NOT crowded). Could have eaten healthier (same food) at home. Sticking with Tippy Cow or 2nd Shift.
