Our prime rib was very good. Clam chowder was too salty. If we had any other negative comment, it would be that the table for two was just a little too tight, both for comfy seating and for arranging plates and side dishes on the tabletop. Overall, a very nice experience for a birthday dinner. Thanks.
We had a lovely time in a room that had just a few diners that maintained a quiet ambience perfect for conversations. The service was perfect and the food prepared exquisitely. We'll definitely be coming back next time we're in Billings.
The atmosphere was impressive in an old Downtown building with great woodwork and a nostalgic feel. The pork chop was the most tender pork chop I've ever had. The meal was delicious and the value was incredible.
Very nice atmosphere for any occasion or celebration. Steak and salmon were excellent! Drinks were very good! Wontons and crab dip appetizers were very good!
Had the best server, Keegan, and the food was amazing. He gave us a cheesecake dessert for our anniversary and was so attentive to us all night! Little noisy with a toddler in the same room as us, but the food was amazing!
We had an excellent meal and a great server. Pete was very helpful and professional. Loved the steak and wine!
The drinks and salads were delicious. The elk medallions not so much . While they were cooked medium rare they were tough and tasteless. The establishment was very classy as they took the entrees off the bill. I'm sure other items are wonderful but the elk was not. The service was outstanding.
I have eated at Jakes Downtown for years and tell everone to eat there. My hysband and I went there tueday night, I had a reservation for 6:30, we had to wait, not a big deal, but we got our salads and bread, I ordered a n appestizer, thank goodness, at 8:40 we still didn't hae our food and it was a special, that was probably already made up and I ordered a rare steak, finally our waitress came over and apologized she said she didn't know what was going on in the kitchen, then the manager came and dumped our food in front of us, we informed her that we didn't eat that late, she said she would box it up, we told her we live 300 miles away and are in a hotel. she got very snippy and took the food, then gave us a bill for the salads and the appatizer, We paid it and gave our waitress a tip, I don't know that I will ever go there agai n!
last night I hosted a Bachelorette party at jakes downtown they were incredible from the hostess to the server and the kitchen and the bartender. the food was amazing our waiter was attentive, we had some last minute additions to our group and the hostesses went to work to accommodate everyone. thank you for making the bride's special night so memorable.
Excellent meal! The only issue was the dessert cake, which was dry and (probably) overbaked. It certainly was edible, but not up to the excellence of the rest of the meals.

The food was perfectly prepared and the wine selection very good, but the highlight was definitely our waiter, Pete. Pete ifs very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. If he is wearing his ducky tie, make sure to ask him about it. Cheers!
Love my Ozzie! He did an amazing job taking care of me and my son Hunter! Thanks for treating us like family! ❤️
perfect, literally. The best ribeye I've had in years. Service, setting perfect.
We had an amazing meal and Zach was wonderful. He was very attentive and when our food was served the young man (I think Kyle) made sure that our meat was cooked to perfection which it was. The atmosphere is very charming. It is very clean and delicious.
We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation, but were seated with no problem. Our server was very attentive. The food was delicious and prepared spot-on. The food came out quickly after ordering. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.
