Jake's is our favorite for lunch. It is very quiet after the lunch rush and the clam chowder and hamburgers are spectacularly and reliably good. The service is very casual, but professional.

Experience at downtown location is much better. Service was terrible, came back once as soon as food was delivered and then not until it was time to pay and that was after we flagged n her down. No checking to see if water needed to be refilled, which it did due to subpar food. Order was taken right away and then had to wait a long time to get food. When food arrived, fried shrimp was burnt. Steak was ordered medium, arrived medium well to almost well done and was dry. Will stick to downtown location for the future.

Just a great experience. Amazing food, outstanding service, and a very nice establishment to dine at. The French onion soup is out of this world, the baked potatoes were massive and well done (no skimping, loaded MEANS loaded), the in house dressing was beautiful, and the 4 steaks made the whole family gush. Will be back.

A little annoyed about the fajita's. The video review gave the impression that I'd have that much meat. What I got was probably half that meat if best. Taste wise that you're still amazing The service was still top notch but I was really annoyed for the price point to get barely enough steak to fill up one single tortilla.

The food was excellent, but the service was disappointing. Our server didn’t return to refill our drinks, even though other customers around us had their drinks refilled a few times. We also waited about 15 minutes for the check and had difficulty locating our server. When a to-go box was requested, one of our plates was taken but the to-go box never arrived. Went for dinner. There 3 hours . Took for ever to get drinks . Got salad but wife didn't get hers. Had to go ask for her salad. After 1 and half hours ask where are food was. Waiter never came in and check on us. Same thing happened when food came . Didn't bring it all. Had to ask for bill after it took 3 hours to get dinner.

When is Billing, you need to eat here. The French dip is great and so is the Beartooth burger if you want a spicy burger. They have great onion rings. Our service was excellent.
