Craved a good breakfast burrito, searched breakfast burrito. This restaurant popped up with good reviews. I drove over and was greeted by a kind woman with a good morning. I told her what I was looking for and she gave me selections and prepared me the chorizo breakfast burritos a Diet Coke. I opened it thinking it was pretty small but it tasted incredible. Grateful to have found it.
Authentic Mexican made with love and loads of personality. Evelyn is a one-woman kitchen and a force to be reckoned with! If you are looking for mild/gringo spicy, look elsewhere. I adore the namesake tinga (pork in spicy chipotle sauce), tostadas, and the chile relleno platter. You can’t go wrong with her daily specials either—never had a bad meal here.

La Tinga was so cute and the chorizo breakfast burrito was reminiscent of a homemade one straight from my mom's kitchen 🩷 Evelyn the owner and chef was so sweet, kind, and attentive! She even gave me a slice of delicious cake she made!
