The gentleman that was our waiter was maybe a manager but he was really quite amazing and fun to watch. This place is a well oiled place. Breakfast was different and delicious! Im a picky eater and id recommend to anyone for a nice breakfast experience in Billings.

Very nice place. Our server appeared to be the only one working the floor and did a great job. Food and drinks were delicious.

Great service at this restaurant! Super friendly and upbeat! The food was delicious and flavorful. The burgers are seasoned well and juicy! The ricotta and mozzarella cheese spread is amazing as well! Has patio seating and a small indoor space.

Had lunch, wanted the Turk but it was sold out! Had shrimp tacos and was not even a little bit sorry I missed out on the turkey sando! The tacos were excellent and my lunch buddy had spiced French toast! She loved it and I love that brunch is available until 2pm! Oh! The huckleberry mimosa is lovely!

I wish I had taken photos. My wife and I ordered drinks I went to the bath room to wash my hands it was so dirty you could see where people walk just gross, I went to tell my wife not to order but she did. Our food came i ordered ribeye med rare it was drowning in sauce. I could not eat it. We paid for our drinks and left.

My friend and I didn’t know they closed at 2pm and got there just a bit after 1 and they still made our food and drinks with smiles. Super professional and sweet. 10/10 recommend and will be returning, earlier this time around. 😂

The Local is easily one of Billings' best restaurants. Sitting at the bar with a full view of the kitchen and watching the staff interact is a privilege that enhances the entire experience. Then there is the food. Oh, the food. Have you ever had a meal so good sometimes you catch yourself daydreaming about it months or years later? A smell or a sound will trigger the memory and you can't help reminisce out loud.. "Remember when we had _____ at the Local?" It's the kind of meal I've come to expect when eating here and have never been disappointed. In fact, they somehow keep seeming to raise the bar, with their newest menu blowing my mind just last week. I didn't know that candied bell peppers would be such a delight so simple, yet so perfect as a garnish that they have me yearning for just one... more... bite. The attention to detail, quality of ingredients, innovative menu, top shelf staff and service all blend into an unforgettable experience that is exactly what eating out should be.

Good food and drink, like the open kitchen. Kinda small location but quaint.. more details on the burger special would have been nice..

Nice little place. Great aesthetic and atmosphere. The food comes out fairly quickly. Everything was really good and tasty. The Poutine was so good and a first time trying.

Very disappointing. Won’t be back. Came for a nice birthday dinner for my husband and found strips of paper in kids pizza. Waitress barely acknowledged it, didn’t comp it, nothing. Just said she’d let them know 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ My filet was sitting in a 1/2 cup of standing butter. I had to ask for a separate plate to cut my food so it’d be dry. Very disappointing for what we thought this caliber of restaurant was.

I had brunch here on the patio and it was a great experience! The hash browns were super, super crispy, which isn't my preference, but others might love it!

Our waiter did well! We could tell he was new and trying to do a good job and get it right. :) My husband got the bison short ribs, which were dry and he was not very impressed with his meal overall. Drinks were mostly limited to beer and wine, they did have two cider choices and the pear ? cider was tasty. My husband’s French Pinot Noir was good as well. We sat on the patio and towards the end of our meal a song came on that had the f word throughout. Not necessarily a big deal but we had our 12 year old with so was not a family friendly moment. My husband did let the waiter know so hopefully will be more appropriate in the future. :)

Some of the best restaurant food we’ve ever had. Everything was so fresh, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. So glad we chose to try this place.
