Montana Sky Restaurant

Lovely view, friendly but slow service, and mediocre food. The drink was delicious but the food was so so.

When we arrived we were not greeted by any host as the host did not show up for work... our server was tasked with being host and server and also busboy as the restaurant was severely understaffed. Our server however was personable and provided phenomenal service even under these circumstances... he kept apologizing but we were in no hurry as the dining room was situated to watch the sun set while having a great Montana steak dinner. The food was cooked perfect and dining experience was great! We would definitely recommend & hope the manager better schedules their hard working employees to better host future diners.

Literally everything was excellent. Pretty pricey but the appetizers and drinks are to die for.

Had a reservation for my birthday. We were seated without being asked if we had one. The menu is different than the one posted online. The waitress was very uprofessional and smelled my boyfriends drink very closely at the table before giving it to him. My wine glass had lip marks all over it. The food was inedible. Very low grade steak for over 50 dollars the broccolini was too dry to eat. The chicken was also incredibly dry. Would never eat here ever again.

This was a wonderful experience for a bachelorette dinner in the private dining room. Our waitress was absolutely amazing and the food was perfect. The view of Billings from the private dining room was impressive!

Montana Sky is Billings' hidden gem! We save it for special occasions but not sure we will anymore. We just LOVE the food, the view of Billings skyline, the quiet atmosphere, and the service. Jason has been our server the last few times and is superb. Menu is unique for Billings and has recently been updated. All in our group raved about their own meal selection so I'll have to try those next time! Steaks, pork, pastas...all delish. I would love to see more seafood on the menu such as shrimp or scallops. Great job, team!

The chef of this restaurant is an artist of exquisite caliber that can take you down a culinary experience that will set new expectations for you that others might never be able to beat. Be it their yellow curry or salmon or an off menu gin tonic water based cocktail or butter scotch flavored desert, the taste is surreal and presentation is unparalleled . If you are in Billings you should not forgive yourself if you ignored this place.

They are open for lunch! Very delicious food, I loved my bourbon burger, and the pastrami was yummy too. Beautiful view, nice service, very clean.

We decided to dine at Montana Sky for our 26th wedding anniversary tonight since 26 years ago, we had our wedding reception there at the then Sheraton Hotel. Our server, Jason, was superb and very professional. Our dinner was very good and the dessert was even better. We were able to get a table by the windows and the views were great! Thank you for making our anniversary dinner memorable! It will not take us another 26 years to return!😁

Had an wonderful meal to celebrate my birthday. Nice and quiet atmosphere with amazing views of billings and the mountains to the west.

The food is top notch! I had the ribeye which was perfectly cooked and seasoned topped with sauteed mushrooms. My dad had the meat duo with a wagu steak and short rib that instantly melted in my mouth, definitely the best thing on the menu. And the chocolate cake at the end was the cherry on top for a perfect meal.

Highly recommend for a special evening, or just a nice dinner with a view!

What’s the point of making a reservation for window seating to not have it when you arrive ? Specially on a special day , first time wanting to try this place and they failed and customer service was rude .

Excellent food and even better service. Our server was helpful, kind and fun. Our group goes out to dinner in Billings every Saturday and this is one of the best experiences we have had.

We were seated in a timely fashion by the window, our server greeted us quickly. She checked on us regularly. We ordered curry and stroganoff and we thought both dishes were very delicious. The drink menu had plenty to offer and we had a great time. We hope the hotel will be able to get it washing the windows soon so the view is that much more beautiful.
