We were there for Easter Brunch which was a buffet in the former Petroleum Club. The food was over the top. Service and views were great to.

The bartender Kip was an excellent bartender who gave us some creative drinks with good conversation! Would recommend stopping in the lounge next to the lobby!

Wow, this place really went downhill, I hate to say it, but it's true. The only good thing about our latest visit was the view.My food was pretty good, however my partner's was not. The sauce on his steak was clumpy like it had curdled and his potatoes tasted like left overs heated up from the fridge. While the staff was kind, they were all new and I tried to give that merit... however we asked twice for a dessert menu (never got one), weren't offered or given soup or salad with our steaks (until I asked for them), & each time we asked about something, our waitress didn't know the answer & only returned with answers a couple of times. Again, friendly and kind staff, but not knowledgeable or attentive. If I was dining at Denny's I wouldn't complain, but with these prices & prior reservations made for a holiday dinner, I was just expecting more and left incredibly disappointed.I will say in the past that I have always enjoyed my dinners here, both the food and the service. So hopefully after the new crew catches a groove together, things will improve, but I won't be returning until enough time has passed that I'm sure the kinks have been worked out!

Good food - breakfast and dinner, with a great view, especially for breakfast as the sun breaks over the mountains. The serving sizes are about twice as big as needed so a lot of food is wasted. Service is well below average here because they only have one to two servers covering the entire restaurant, room service, and bar orders. The wait times for your food is also quite long.Great place for breakfast if you’re staying in the hotel as you don’t have to wait on the buffet. Otherwise I’d suggest going elsewhere unless you’re here for the view.

Went back to Montana Sky for their breakfast. We ordered off the menu but they also had a buffet. The food was excellent and quick and Katherine, our server, was super patient with our 5 year old! Everything we ordered was tasty but their bacon was off the charts! Thanks Montana Sky, we hope to return

Can’t beat the view and the staff was delightful. The chef prepared the food well, however the rib eye was inferior to what one would expect for a $42 steak. It was thin, tough and had no flavor. The New York was much better, thick, tender, cooked to a perfect medium-rare with a peppercorn sauce. With all the steak houses in Billings, they are going to have do a little better on the quality of their beef. The cocktails were good, a bit pricey and served in the smallest glasses I’ve ever seen. The caesar salad was delicious and the dinner sides were tasty and complemented the meal nicely. Note to owner: Please have your buyer, buy better meat for the chef. Feature a local Rancher for your beef…there are plenty to choose from.

The meat wasn't seasoned so it was bland, the sauce I had on my pork chop all I tasted was apple, and the potatoes were warm at best and the green beans were undercooked. The waitress was amazing though, good personality and upbeat. The restaurant was clean and inviting and the view of Billings was great. The food though fell short and it was a huge disappointment for the price you pay.

The atmosphere was great. Our waitress was fabulous, fast and friendly. I ordered the 3 shredded, beef tacos. The flour tortillas were fried, which was great, but way too oily. I'm not much of a meat person, which makes me picky. The taste wasn't to my liking, but that doesn't mean it wasn't good. Next time, I'll try the pasta. Everyone else loved their meals and drinks. It was a good dinner, though yes, a little spendy. The view, as always, was great. No matter who owns this restaurant space, it always seems to be empty. I wonder if the menu were more casual, if they'd get more people in there. And it'd be really nice if you had reserved parking in the garage! That would make a huge difference.

Spent a night here as we were heading to Banff. Tired from driving, we decided to stay in and have dinner here. View was alright, smoke from the fire was covering most of the sky. I can say, it's one of the worse restaurants I've been to at a Hilton chain. And I don't know why I ordered the Seared Tuna salad, worse thing ever and I got sick. My boyfriend stayed with the good 'ol chicken sandwich. Quality of food was abysmal and never again for us. Service was alright, nothing worth mentioning. I think we should've stayed downstairs at the bar. It was more happening there and they have small plates.

The food was great, view was great, but the service has gone so far down hill that it took us 15mins to get seated, (others gave up and left that were before us) and 50minutes to get any food, amongst other details that were left overlooked, it was very sad to see how far my favorite restaurant has declined.
