Excellent in all respects! Wyatt was our server and amazing.
Great steak and the fried green tomatoes were stellar
Best ribeye and bison chili Ever!!
My family went to Rib n Chop in Montana for a special dinner, but unfortunately, the food quality was quite disappointing. The steaks were either overcooked or undercooked, and the salmon was almost raw, even after we sent it back. Despite our efforts, the kitchen couldn’t seem to get it right. The only bright spot was that they gave us a $40 discount, which is unfortunately our third bad experience at this restaurant. I think they should consider closing down and retraining their staff. It’s a shame to spend so much money for a meal that wasn’t worth it.
Disaster from start to end. First, we fell for the bait and switch July 4th lobster special. I clicked on the email they sent me and made a reservation, but we were told by the server that since we didn't specifically reserve lobsters (where? how?), we couldn't get any. He took our drink order twice because he forgot what we ordered the first time. I got a Manhattan that was missing the sweet vermouth and cherries (got bourbon and water in a cocktail glass, paid for a Manhattan). The ribeye I ended up ordering was cooked as I ordered, but was virtually flavorless. The "loaded" baked potato ($3 upcharge) barely had any butter or sour cream, let alone toppings. They didn't have the bottle of wine we ordered from the menu. Did we complain? No. Service was already so slow we were there from 6 to almost 9 pm. Didn't want to take the time. Will we back? No. Don't want to take the time or risk.
We all ordered the Executive for lunch. We were definitely impressed. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the baked potatoes were massive. We left stuffed. Our waitress Katie was on top of her game! She kept our glasses full and checked on us frequently.
You need to remove the elk kabobs from your menu until you can prepare them properly. Photos of our second plate after returning the first. Absolutely disgusting grey, fatty meat, and complete with silver skin. 🤮🤮 Whole table lost our appetite and missed out on a fun birthday celebration. Not to mention the steak order sent back twice. Never again in Billings...
A longtime friend came to town and said that he wanted to take my wife and I out for a good steak dinner. He’s produces some outstanding beef on his cattle operation in North Dakota. He was very impressed with his meal. Our server, Julian was outstanding!! If there was a downside to our experience, it was that the space was a bit noisy but we still had some great dinner conversation.
We've held our company Christmas party here for the past two years. This year, the servers promoted a gift card deal—spend $100 and receive a $20 bonus gift card. It sounded like a great offer, so we spent $300 and received three $20 gift cards. However, we were unaware that these cards had a March 1st expiration date. When we tried to use them on March 9th, the restaurant refused to honor them. Be cautious of their promotions and always check the fine print. Needless to say, we'll be choosing a more reputable establishment in Billings for our future holiday parties.
A must stop if you’re in Billings! Every dish from the appetizer to the steak, to the side dishes were phenomenal! The service was just as great as the food! 10/10 would recommend! 💕

One of my favorite places. So many great food options. Steak was excellent and they have the best fried green tomatoes. Most excellent service.

Oh my...the yummiest rib eye ? The sides were OK, but you're there for the steak.
Julian was a terrific server, but our steaks did not live up to expectation. My wife got filet, I got the baseball, both ordered medium rare. Hers came solidly rare, mine very medium. We didn't make a fuss, and just traded plates as my wife won't eat rare steak.
The carrot cake for dessert was excellent though.
