I quit going to the downtown perkins cuz there was always some choice folks around but I had an appointment today and let me tell you I will be back. When I first walked in I was greeted with friendly faces and a big welcome. It was nice alot of places don't do that anymore. They were a little busy and I had to wait about five minutes. When I say they were hustling all around it doesn't even cover it. They had everyone working together like a machine. I was so impressed that I will be coming back in. They have a new sign in machine so it's easy to get rewards their pie looked so fresh and delicious. I do miss the éclairs but I found the peanut butter drop delightful. I was treated so nicely. Alot of places have forgotten hospitality but I was astonished and the amazing way I was treated. Thank you perkins for a really wonderful experience and a good place to eat.

They were severely understaffed the night I ate there. I was impressed by how quickly I was served. Food was great and my server was excellent.

We ordered in to avoid peopling, and we were not disappointed. The salmon was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. I had the pot roast, it was melt in your mouth tender. I ordered an extra gravy as most places don't give enough, I didn't need, it had the right amount

Great food and the servers are top notch but we’ve had to finally stop going to this one because they’re just constantly short staffed. Last five times we went there was nobody at the front counter so we just waited with a few other customers for someone to come out and seat us (even when it was slow and almost empty). Then when it came time to pay we went back out to the empty front desk and waited for a while until someone realized there were customers up front who hadn’t paid.

None of this would be a big deal if it weren’t for the fact my dad has mobility issues and I’ve had to watch him wincing in pain as he leaned uncomfortably on the front desk as employees in the back walked by without so much as a glance. So we will be moving our Perkins meals to the other establishment down south.

Lot of great memories at this place, and I really hope they can figure out how to address the staffing issues they’re dealing with at present.

Since Perkins corporate has taken over this store the service has been severely lacking!! There is seldom a host/hostess to greet patrons and patrons have to wait to even be greeted. Then when patrons leave to pay they have to wait and wonder if someone is going to cash them out. When I say the service is lacking I'm not referring to the wait staff. They are awesome, despite the fact that there are too few at any given time. For example, when the store opens there is only one server and a second does not arrive until 9 am. Because of this there have been many times I have been on a waiting list with half a dozen or so other patrons just to be seated for breakfast. There used to be busses to assist the wait staff but that has been eliminated so the one or two wait personnel are expected to buss their own tables and serve their customers with a smile. I have patronized this Perkins for years and have seen it go from a pleasant atmosphere for patrons and staff to hearing patrons mumble about lack of service and staff complain about lack of company support. I have seen valuable, previously loyal staff leave due to the present conditions and go elsewhere. Things need to change!! This store is severely understaffed to the degree that the present manager has been known to be on duty from open to close on numerous occasions. What staff is on duty work hard to take care of patrons and make their visit pleasant.

I haven't been into perkins for a bit but decided to try it again on 1/15. I was greeted right away with warm friendly smiles (a big improvement from the last time I was there). I was seated very quickly and had my drink order taken. Perkins has the best coffee but I tried a new French silk hot chocolate. It was amazing. I got my usual hearty man's but noticed they have a burger and pie deal that I will be trying this week. Thank you for the amazing service and food. P.s. the bathrooms are MUCH better since I was here last.

We went to Perkins downtown Billings on Friday night December 9th 2026. The waiter whose name was Sophia was absolutely awesome. Food was great good proportions. Service was excellent There was a guy sitting near us look very down. Sophia was very kind and compassionate to him. His wife was in the hospital fighting bone cancer. You could till he was choked up, due to the heartfelt service he received.

This restaurant has the friendliest staff. The food is good but the people who work there are phenomenal. They greeted us with warm smiles which was needed as this was the forst place we stopped after my dad passed. It's amazing that you are so close and are willing to accommodate everyone who comes in. The empathy the staff showed us was beyond compare. Thank you so much for making a sad day better.

I went here on Christmas with my daughter. They were so busy yet everyone smiled and was in great moods. We had a small wait before we were seated but we got greeted immediately and drinks just as fast. The food took a minute but came out hot and so delicious. Those workers worked so hard to give everyone great service and made it a wonderful Christmas experience. I can't forget about the pie either!!!! It was so fresh and plated so perfectly. Thank you for a great time.

I go here often with my family. It has always been good but recently it has been amazing. The staff seem happier and they take care of payment at our table. The food is so good and hot. Their options they have seem to be more than before and the turkey gobbler is the best. The employees are always so happy and the little one in the front is hilarious. Keep it up you guys are amazing and I will be back for sure.

The place is dirty and smells bad from bathroom not being clean just like all other Perkins I've visited in the past few years. I should know better than to expect something different.

Always our 'Go To' when we have an appointment at St Vincent's Hospital. Staff is friendly, efficient, and offer the best meal deals. Food is quickly prepared, tasty, and presented well. Very good meals at very affordable rates.

Ordered Thanksgiving dinner. Overall very good. The dressing was a little salty, but I'm not a salt person so would probably be fine for most.
