This place actually serves legit, unsweetened matcha, the only spot in town I’ve found that does it right. Flavor was solid, smooth, and not the usual sugar bomb.
My only issue is how they prepare it. They pour boiling water into a standard plastic cup, add the matcha powder, and whisk it directly in there. Those cups are absolutely not made for high temperatures, and you can just see the plastic leeching into the drink. The cup even warped from the heat.
So here’s my recommendation:
Keep serving that high quality matcha, but please switch to proper heat safe vessels for preparation. The drink has real potential, just let it shine without the side of melted cup.

Located in the heart of downtown Billings, this little coffee shop is the perfect place to study, get some work done, and to get your caffeine fix
This spot is locally owned, roasted, and brewed. They have a local non-profit partner. Each order is fresh roasted to order, and they’re brought to us by sustainable farms in small batch
I had to be at work early that morning, and I was staying in the area, so, I walked over to get a quick pick-me-up. I like that they’re open earlier than most coffee shops in the area
The interior is spacious and well-decorated. There are your typical snacks, other breakfast treats, merchandise, roastery machinery, and plenty of seating options
There was only one barista working when I arrived around 6am, but there were already several patrons who had already been helped. This barista was professional, friendly, and efficient. I received my order within a couple minutes of ordering
The menu offers a variety of classic specialty coffees as well as seasonal and specialty offerings. There’s non-espresso drinks, chai/teas, etc. there’s breakfast foods, snacks, and you can even purchase beans/grounds to take home
As I was in a rush I only had time for a to-go coffee and a quick bite (stroopwaffles). Both hit the spot on an early winter morning
Some tips:
Parking isn’t great downtown, but you can find some metered parking. There are a handful of parking garages in the area. Again, there is plenty of space if you want to relax in a lovely coffee shop and just enjoy your cup o’ joe
Cheers!!

Honestly it’s incredibly disappointing to walk into a business I’ve been in dozens of times over the last 5 years and have to walk out without even having my order taken. 3 employees were standing talking at the cash register and not a single one made any effort to take my order. Honestly one of the most confusing situations I’ve ever been in. They just kept glancing at me as if they were waiting for me to leave?

Had a coffee and when I asked for sugar they didn’t have any. How does a place that serves coffee not have sugar?
This place is a vibe!! Their view is amazing as it sits on a corner downtown. The coffee was chef kiss and the chocolate croissant beyound addicting!!

Came here from out of town, nice service, chill atmosphere, and my coffee was made so cute! I got a cinnamon mocha ❤️ I put the lid on then took it off again so it got a little messed up, but seriously so cute!

Anytime I come to Billings this is where I come for coffee. They do a wonderful job and love the atmosphere of the locals.
Joel spent some time discussing coffee beans, pour over devices and other things relative to brewing your own coffee.
I did recieve my House blend coffee beans today. They were awesome ! Really.
I used my Clever dripper brewer and nailed it first time.
Thanks Joel....

Paid for a 20oz of Chai and 3/4 of it was foam.
Good atmosphere and awesome staff. Our barista recommended their dirty chai with cinnamon and it was absolutely delicious! Really cool roaster visible in the coffee shop for those who admire the craft. We always love supporting people/businesses who are making things from the ground up, and will def be back!
Latte was good.
SO GOOD these fine people need a raise!!! Vibes were great and we got these cute little coffee shots I got pistachio the bf got blackberry those were so good a something different! We also got lattes for the road and definitely 10/10 would recommend yes
Trash interaction. The taller woman at the counter with the thin eyebrows and tattoos on October 25 at 11:20. Was rushing me with no line. Because they are a roasters I asked about other specialty bean options and pour overs. I was met with the attitude as if I was bothering her. I chose not to do business there.
