Amazing coffee, food, and service. Definitely smaller than i expected from the pictures i saw online, but the raspberry white chocolate cupcake was divine. Rich, but not too heavy somehow at the same time. Not dry (avoiding writing the word so many people hate to describe this). Fresh. Definitely better than a grocery store chain cupcake, even though i like those, this was better. The raspberry was just right, not overpowering. So pretty, too. Kicking myself for not taking a picture. Seems like their bakery and pastry menu must rotate because i didn't see some of the things from the online pictures. However, it was easy to find something appealing regardless. The espresso tastes really good - no battery acid flavor or after taste. The right amount of bitterness with a smooth finish.

I love this café. Their selection of treats, snacks and food offers a wide array of options.
Their sandwiches are wholesome and their cranberry walnut bread is delicious!
You can grab a snack or a meal and enjoy the library atmosphere and for heavens sake read a book! ;)

This is a hidden gem in the public library. They are nestled in the corner where the used books are sold.
We will eat here every time we come! My son had a HUGE Ruben sandwich, I had lovely tomato soup. We also ended up purchasing about 10 books and several CDs!
Wish we had known sooner about Stompin Grounds, and wish we had been able to eat there more frequently!!

You have got to try the Caesar Salad at Stompin’ Grounds! With or without chicken, the salad has “secret” ingredients that push it over the top of any Caesar Salad I have ever had. Outstanding! The ingredients could not be any fresher, and many are locally sourced. By chance if other salads such as the Louie, or other weekly specials are available, I would not hesitate to try them. Stomp on’ Grounds is a little known secret in downtown Billings library, and I highly recommend it for salads, soups, and outstanding sandwiches.
