Great brewery in a garage style vibe, with lots of unique touches like the stools made from kegs, pendant lighting made from kegs and also from glass beer growlers. I believe it's Billings second oldest craft brewery? Sampled five or six of the current beers. Loved the Wild FlIPA that was maltier than most. So you're at if you're an IPA hop head you probably won't find this Hoppy enough. The MoAv Coffee Porter was nice and smooth as well. The huckleberry wheat was good, and the surprise for me was the Hot and Tart, a jalapeí±o passionfruit sour. Very crisp and refreshing this would be a great summer patio beer. I think the growlers are $12 which is like getting 4 pints of beer for the price of three. There's often music here, and there's a distillery that will soon have a tasting room next-door.

I wish I could give it 5 stars. Seems like a really cool place. However when I came in the bartender didn't acknowledge me, people sitting at the bar had purses and stuff sitting on empty seats so there was no where to sit. I stood at the bar for 10 minutes waiting to order a beer and the bartender walked right by me before turning around and asking if I needed something.

The Garage at Yellowstone Valley Brewing is the best hangout in Billings because of a) its friendly staff, b) gold-medal-winning beers, c) energetic (yet casual) atmosphere, and d) the awesome people who go there are friendly and full of life. The music is is always great, and you'll leave with a big smile on your face.

I went to go see Ezra Bell, a band that until that day I'd never heard of, with a roommate and some friends. Not only was the band a hoot and a half but the staff here were nice and knowledgeable about their brews. I went with the Kilt Slayer, well three of them if we are going to be honest. The smoky flavor combined with the dark beer just made it so delicious! The floor is spacious with a full stage and everything. I highly recommend a stop in and check it out. Seems like Saturdays are the day to be.

I thought it was pretty cool how they mashed up a garage with a pub. Stefanie was a great bartender. I'll definitely be back.
Went on Wednesday, trivia night. Friendly staff.
