One of the best happy hours in town with the best patio in all of Billings! The food here is the best of Billings midtown restaurants, and the service is always excellent.I’d love to see come enjoy live music on their patio this summer.

Very good food. A very nice dining experience. A bit on the expensive side, but not over the top.

The Granary salad looked incredible but when I ordered it was missing two very important ingredients: the Pilates peppers as well as the flavor of truffle on the truffle vinaigrette.

Two of the people in our group ordered the wagyu steak. Very disappointing. It was rather tough, not cooked to order and a mediocre filet at best. Question whether it was a wagyu cut of meat at all. Multiple times we had to hunt down our waitress. She would disappear for extended periods of time and we constantly had to ask for water refills. We paid over $300 for our meal. Definitely not worth it.

I worked here when they first opened, in fact several of my friends did as well, all from Rocky Mountain College. I think there were 5 of us, maybe 6-7 tops that I knew.I had 6 years line cook experience from all of highschool and part of college.Within a couple months, they found reasons to fire every single one of us, as soon as they found professional level help. it became obvious this was their plan all along.Kevin, both managers had the same name actually, but the short one was not at all enjoyable to work around. Neither were some of the straight up sketchy, weird, or fresh out of jail people they'd hired at the time, but who had more experience. There was no investment real or teaching and they disposed of us all as soon as possible, to get more experienced staff.A friend reminded me about the experience and I wanted to leave a review from circa 2014.The food was decent but the owners and management were fairly toxic.

Overall we were fairly disappointed. The service was friendly and the environment was really nice! We were super impressed coming in. Our drinks were really good and the appetizer pretzel was amazing. However, the entrees ended up being disappointing for the price and our wait from sit down to entrees at the table was an hour and a half.We had their bison short rib, a salmon fillet special, and a marbled flat iron steak. The bison short rib was pretty good, as were the mashed potatoes. The salmon was also good but lacked much in the way of a side. The biggest disappointment was the steak. It had an odd smoked taste to it. Hard to describe but it seemed like it was over smoked in hickory or something. The buttered pastas for the kids was okay but the pasta seemed under done and the kids didn’t really enjoy it (hard to please kids though). The biggest frustration and disappointment was the wait for food. It was almost like they forgot about us. Keeping our kids occupied for an hour and a half stuck in a booth was not pleasant.Maybe it was an off night. It was steady but didn’t seem overly busy. The pretzel and drinks was worth the trip if we stopped there. The entrees as I mentioned didn’t live up to the cost or the wait.

We love coming to The Granary. Drinks and food are fantastic. Everything is served quickly without much wait time. Our server Darian was very kind, on top of our drink orders, refilling water, and very knowledgeable on menu items. We look forward to another night out at The Granary.

Everything was great. Erica was a good server and pasta was excellent. My one complaint is we ordered wine with dinner and it took 10 minutes to arrive after our dinner was served. I like to pare my wine with food so it got a little cold waiting. We were told the bar was backed up. Maybe there should have been more staff covering bar on a Friday night?

Hadn't been back for years. Went to lunch for Valentines Day. I would like to try the dinner menu. I had the Elk Bolo, which was great. My husband had stroganoff and was a bit bland.

One of my favorite places to eat in Billings. Really nice setting and atmosphere. Located in a nice area of town. I’ve had the same bartender every time and he never disappoints. All around 7-10 experience. Make sure to stop in when you get a chance.
