Prime rib was excellent as usual. Tera is always a joy as a server, and now friend. Still one of our favorite places to dine!

When I want to go to a restaurant with delicious food, great staff, and a good atmosphere in Billings, I always choose the Windmill.

Great server. Food was very good except for my daughter's apple salad which had about a third of the lettuce being wilted/brown edges that she picked out and left on the plate. Very unappealing...

We sat outside on the patio with out two dogs underneath our table, on a late Monday afternoon. the pond near the patio is a lovely dinner backdrop. There were two other tables of patrons on the patio as well. It took waitstaff at least ten minutes to greet us & take our beverage order. One of the menus brought to our table was heavily soiled so our waitstaff promised to bring another menu along w our beverages (hot tea and iced tea). Another ten minutes passed and we were served our beverages, new menu presented, & the waitstaff took our order. Tomato soup was good. The steak salad was delish. The baked potato was grossly smothered in butter - as much butter as potato. The broccoli was mushy. Drinks were not refilled, nor offered.

Read the great reviews so expected it to be solid but it took almost 2 full hours to receive our food and we were a small party of 4 with two children who ordered chicken strips.

My mashed potatoes were cold and my wife’s burger was burnt (she ordered it medium).

Kids stuff was hot but chicken a little bland.

I do give them credit for my steak and the tomato soup though, both were great.

Wonderful staff, very accommodating for our very large group and with food allergies. The shrimp scampi was amazing, comparable to great places I've eaten at in New Orleans and Paris France. Hats off to the chef, and the fabulous staff!

The cocktails were top notch and flavorful. We were visiting with old friends, so the service was great —- went along with our conversations. The shrimp was out of this world, my wife's filet was great. She commented that her baked potato was the “best potato” she'd ever had. Overall, a very positive experience.

Great place to have a couples night out dinner and drinks.

We really liked this restaurant. The only bad thing was the fact it was empty. One of the prettiest restaurants I've ever been in. Hopefully it was just an off night.

Normally a great place. I ordered well steak and received well done, and the creme brulee was runny but had good flavor. We went at 4 pm. It was very quiet.

We have dined here twice now… excellent service each time and same with the food. Their wine selection is great too…. The menu is varied, we enjoyed the filet and shrimp
