We had a fun outing with friends. Tuesday is prime rib night. The food was excellent. The whole night turned out well. One thing I did not care for were the dried bread sticks.

Just finished eating prime rib on a Tuesday night at Borrie's. Passing though Great Falls by myself from Butte and sat in the bar. The food was as delicious as ever and the prime rib was perfect, even if it was the first time I ever saw beef at market price on menu. My blame for that isn't directed towards Smelter Ave. though, it's directed a couple thousand miles East on Pennsylvania Ave.
What was really great about Borrie's tonight though was the entire bar was locals. They greeted each other by name as they walked in. They talked about the Cats and the Griz and Great Falls old timers. They told stories about a guy named Tiny that used to live in the basement before he got tied up with the old timers in Butte I knew and defected to the old M&M. They were drinking strong booze, mixed well by a bar tender that remembered the crowd when the smelter was running. Even though I was stuffed, I ordered a Spumoni sundae, just to linger a little longer in the Montana I grew up in and love, and which is increasingly difficult to find.

Tried a few dishes, did not care for most of it. Spaghetti sauce was not good. Bread was hard as a rock. Raviolis were not good. Fried chicken was good though.

WA'. Ited over 10 minutes and still no one came to take my order while waitresses walked around and cleaned tables.Unfortunately, the prices were way out of hand Google says $,20 30.It's more like seventy to a hundred dollars.

This was our first time. Great food and great service. Shoutout to Dominique for giving us a sample of the meat sauce with fried ravioli before ordering and taking the time to explain certain dishes and giving her recommendations. We will definitely return!

Great food
A Saturday evening visit when it was busy, and probably a longer wait time than normal. However the service was polite and attentive and the food was well worth the wait. Ravioli was awesome and the sauce reminded me of visits to European restaurants - it was really good! Great place for traditional Italian dinner!

The porterhouse was terrible. Overseasoned and very salty. When I told the waitress: she didn’t ask a supervisor to come: she said I’ve never got a complaint before. My family has been coming to Bories for 60 years. We are farmers. I will never come here again and from the booth in front of us; they said their hamburger was tasteless and dry. I’ll tell our friends about this experience as well.

Sad to say someone suggested we eat there. It was awful. I've never seen spaghetti sauce look brown! I wasnt sure if it was brown gravy or chili? I ordered the fried ravioli and I dont know what kind of meat was in there, but it made me want to hurl. It was disgusting. We will never be back and will never reccomend anyone to go there.
We celebrated our anniversary at Borries. The food was great and our waitress, Dawn, was amazing. We will be back.
