We have been there twice in the last month and it has been excellent! A far cry from a year ago. There has been a lot of work done on the inside and a job well done!

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access!

I absolutely loved this place, the staff was so incredibly nice, made me feel so safe and welcomed! I was so spoiled with delicious food that I came 2 days in a row! We had a person with multiple dietary restrictions, and they went above and beyond to serve him! If I am ever back in the area I will go back, thank you for a good happy belly!

If I could give a zero I would. We waited and hour and 15 minutes for chx strips and and a grilled cheese with fries. My partner ordered a salad and 40 mins later a salad with the wrong dressing and no silverware as well as a radom cinnamon roll we never ordered arrived at the table. Where's my lunch we were so excited to enjoy. Whether you are taking your time or in a hurry please don't stop at this 'bistro' in Boulder.Someone open a delicious restaurant there!!!!

While staying in Boulder, we tried out the Elkhorn Bistro (AKA Cafe), a friendly and folksy place where it seems everyone knows each other. However, the meals were ordinary and not much to brag about. I would also be more concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant.

After 1.5 hours we didn't have food in front of us and drink cups were empty. Seemed very short staffed and help was non-existent at times. Refills were hard fought for, should have just gotten our own. 2 hours total and not impressed.

Since moving to the area I’ve become a regular here for the best breakfast in SW Montana! Giant portions of delicious food with great service every time and don’t miss the cinnamon rolls

Joy and Tasha and Jen are awesome staff, I get the clam chowder and it rocks. It's only available on Fridays and it makes me look forward to the end of the week.

Would be 4 stars but for frozen mixed Veggie choice and quality of deserts. Details of experience below.Fun experience at this is a quintessential Small Town Montana Café:The cook was Roy and the Server was Joy, can't make this up! As it is the end of January, it was very slow in this sleepy town and we were taken good care of! We were we only 2 of 3 customers on a Saturday evening, so both Joy and Roy came by to check on us and visit a bit. If you are interested in the goings on in the area they may accommodate your curiosity, if they have time! Now for the food! The Veggie choice was a frozen mixed vegetable, which seems typical in many Montana Cafés, so I chose a house salad that had all the extras, as Joy gave special attention to it's creation. Roy grilled a wonderful Sirloin Steak, they called a "Windsor", Local Beef obtained through the Windsor Bar across the street. Grilled to perfection! My side was a yummy hand made Mashed Potatoes made with red potatoes, skin on, topped with Brown Gravy. My husband enjoyed the same Steak. His side was fries (from frozen), which were good so they must take care of their deep fryer. My husband ordered Bread Pudding (which appeared to me to be a repurposed cinnamon roll smothered in Caramel Syrup. I ordered a Brownie. Again, smothered in Caramel Syrup. (No choice given on the caramel syrup)In short, I would not hesitate to stop in, meet the crew and have a meal at the Elkhorn Bistro!
