If you’re planning on going to this bar for karaoke, don’t bother. They tell you their list is completely full and whole time bartenders and their friends are singing. We waited two and a half hours and some of the bartenders went twice or even three times before we got to (which we had to beg to do anyways). The DJ we had was super sweet and she’s the only reason i’m giving it two stars. However, whole thing felt like a popularity contest between the employees and it was just a very weird vibe. Also they have random people in there giving drunk people ridiculously hot hot sauce…. Don’t fall for it it will ruin your night lol.

I flew to Bozeman from WI for my 21st and on the first night my ID got stolen while in the bar. I reached out to the owner the next morning hoping for some answers. He reached out and showed me the footage of it getting stolen and then paid for my groups lunch and drinks that night. 10/10 recommend, they prevented a bad night from turning into a bad weekend!

Ordered their Smash Burger and it was the most inedible food I have ever been served. The description of what Burger included was not even close to what came the burger was charred to practically a charcoal briquette.

Favourite bar in downtown Bozeman for sure! My friends and I love a dance floor, and Bar IX never disappoints. Thursday bucket nights and the positive staff experiences we've had are an added plus:)

Rolled in here hungover af with 13 dudes after a bachelor party as we awaited our flights on Sunday morning at 11am to catch the first NFL Sunday of 2024.
I'm normally more of a college football guy, but being a USC alum I need a USC QB to do well in the NFL.
We watched the Caleb Williams domination show on one of the like 14 TVs in here, each one playing a different game. I couldn't imagine a better place for an NFL Sunday.
Some of our group ordered drinks, as the only way out is back in, but the last thing I could think about was more alcohol. I thought about running the pool table in the back, but I was too busy fighting for my life in one of the high bar stools. I'm still in the twilight zone tbh. Hangovers hit different at 28.
Going 14-29 with 93 yards, 0 interceptions, and a W, the Caleb Williams era has begun. 1-0 baby.
