Decided to drop by for their line dancing on Saturday while in town for the first time. Had an amazing time. The DJ played a mix of line dance songs and songs to partner dance to . The dance floor was packed all night which leads me to my only critique which would be the dance floor is too small. And to the very handsome red headed bartender? Call me! 😉😂

UNPROFESSIONAL, DOWNRIGHT HOSTILE.

Literally never felt the need to write a review like this, but how I was threatened by the bartender here, I'll make an exception. Absolutely insane.

I'm Dan, traveling the world for the last ten years. I'm 40 years old, retired and may I mention, dress exceptionally well. I buy anyone who laughs drinks, my average bill ends up in the hundreds probably.

I went there once or twice before, never tipped less than $50. Owner, check my receipt, I have them.

I literally walk into bars all around the world, thousands of times.

Anyway, I walked in with my brother, and immediately the bartenter uncontrollably began screaming in my face. I thought he was joking, stepped back back, then went to the the other bartender, who just turned his back to us. He completely went along with it and was afraid to do anything.

The first bartender, again, with all of his might and body language just pointed, WITH THE MOST HATRED LOOK THAT I'LL NEVER FORGET, HIS EYES FILLED WITH HATE. He was literally doing jumping jacks at this point. But his eyes told the entire story.

Uh yes cool. We will leave. I don't know who he thought we were. No way he would have done that in front of the owner or his own family.

I'm sure he told his coworkers and Boss a different story.

I hope he loses them money honestly. Don't come here, apparently you are a going to threaten this guys manhood. He's very sensitive.

Ask me to leave calmly if you think I did something wrong, explain.

I live in this building when I'm in Montana. Again, I'm literally the one person you want at an establishment like this. I don't care about your bartenders ego. Bottom line is what matters, but the wacky thing is I do both.

I'm sure he has some story to explain this away, maybe he even runs it.

We had 4 smoked brisket Reuben sandwiches. Three of us said it was the worst Reuben sandwiches we have ever had. The meat was so dry it was like eating jerky. You had to drown it in their amazing bbq sauce. The sauerkraut was next to nothing. Maybe a couple of pieces. The baked beans were amazing. The salad was great. The chicken sandwich was good. The service was amazing.

The atmosphere was very nice. Clean and beautifully decorated. Liked the line dancing lessons and music. I also appreciate that the music wasn’t too loud so we were able to comfortably have a conversation. Service was average. Took a while for our server to check on us but it wasn’t an unacceptable amount of time. I caution against the food. It was very unappetizing. We ordered baked beans, greens, smoked wings and Nashville hot style wings. There wasn’t much difference in the taste between the Nashville hot and smoked wings. They were a little on the salty side and seemed like they may have been smoked earlier in the day but reheated in a fryer. The baked beans were inedible. They were so dry, they were crusty -if you’re expecting typical bbq baked beans, these are not it. They are chili beans with a little bbq sauce added. The greens were so sweet, they tasted like they were cooked in syrup. The chicken and waffles were inedible due to the chicken appearing undercooked and the waffle came with syrup already on it, which made it soggy by the time it came to the table. The food is not worth the price point.

We did not eat. The drinks were very good and it was a relaxing atmosphere. It appears to be a local favorite.

We enjoyed the quiet room-visiting was not difficult! Our server was laid back, which was easy going but became a problem when he was very, very slow to bring us our bill and things. We were there over 2 1/2 hours!

I stopped here for lunch and got the nachos. I was definitely happy with the food. It was a very large portion and easily enough for two people for their meal.

Bourbon BBQ in Bozeman is absolutely outstanding! From the moment you walk in, the warm, smoky aroma lets you know you’re in for something special. The pulled pork and chicken & waffles were amazing. The sides were great — smoked green beans and perfectly seasoned fries.

The atmosphere is laid-back yet stylish, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more attentive. You can tell they take pride in both their food and their service. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Bourbon BBQ is a must-try spot in Bozeman!

Dancing, dancing - dancing! And a little bit of BBQ. We couldn't make the line dancing lesson at 8:00 pm, but we got there a bit after 9, and people were two-stepping, line dancing and doing west-coast swing. It was wonderful to watch. I got the courage to join them in the tush-push dance I knew back in the late 90's. It's been forever since I line danced. I even taught my husband a few steps, but we ended up slow dancing the way we wanted. BBQ was pretty good. We had pulled pork, brisket and and fries. Our icecream dessert was "free" because we were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary. Because we were in Bozeman, MT, it was pretty expensive. But, when you have the money saved for the trip, you aren't worried about cost. Great place for the under 21-scene. However, at 10:00 pm, these kids were instructed that it was time to leave. Great lemonade and iced tea. A super place to eat, listen to music, and of course, DANCE!

It is great being able to make a reservation. We were even early and they sat us anyway. We requested a high top table and they accommodated this request. Service was fantastic (wish I caught our waitress's name to give her credit) and food was delicious. Will definitely return in the future.

BBQ was excellent, service was great even being busy. Very nice people! Drink selection was huge, good mix of local beers. Whiskey/Bourbon list is fantastic as well.
