We were in Montana from Xmas through New years and we saw this place so we stopped and tried it out. Excellent drinks and service, let you try samples of what was going to be in your drinks. Are hostess who I think said her name was Emma was super friendly and made everyone feel welcome. I would recommend this place to anyone that is in the area.

We spent five weeks in Bozeman and the best place for a great drink and social contact was here. The staff is not only very knowledgeable, but also personable. The atmosphere is wonderful and you can sit inside or out. Highly recommend the Huckleberry Lemonade, sweet in the beginning with a little tartness at the end. Shout out to Zac and the team for making us feel welcomed every time we came in.

We wanted to go to Shred Monk but they couldn't accommodate our group of 7 and Bozeman Spirits had plenty of tables for larger groups.I was happy about the change as a spirits drinker more than a beer drinker. Even the beer drinkers in the group were happy with the selection.I had a hot toddy that was delicious!The drinks were good and there was lots of local character.The decor was nice but did have a bit of a "gift shop" vibe. That being said they did have nice Bozeman souvenirs, if you're looking.

There was a weird, unhospitable vibe at the bar when I walked in and I nearly turned around and left. One of the bartenders warmed up to me when I asked for a drink recommendation, and we got to talking and turned out she was nice, so I'm glad I stayed. I ordered a huckleberry lemonade (delicious) and a pink panther (good but sweet). They can only serve you two drinks because it's a distillery and not licensed as a bar. Speaking of the distillery, they don't offer tours anymore, so you'll have to settle for looking through the window to see part of the distillery.

Instead of charging me extra they gave me towel to cover my soiled pants up and were very understanding. I am so sorry that my incontinence ruined your seat but thank you for treating me so well.

I'll start off by saying that I'm a bourbon / whiskey drinker and don't really do vodka or cocktails. This place seemed like a good hang, but honestly, unless you really like the gimmick involved in drinking huckleberry vodka, it's not worth your time for whiskey. I tried all of their bourbons, since that's my jam and none of them were at all interesting, or.....well, good. Pretty disappointing. But, the atmosphere is nice and it looks like they make some decent cocktails. So, if that's your jam, this could be your place.

Excellent cocktail selection, especially for those who don’t partake in Whiskey on a regular basis. As the standard 1886 Whiskey presents with maple sweetness on the front and berry bitter on the finish I’d like to see an alpine old fashioned added to the lineup. That would be maple syrup as the sugar and blackberries as the fruit (muddled).
