My muffuleta po boy was hardly traditional (they're supposed to be round, not long!), but it was wonderful!!! Everything in it from the meat to the olive salad were perfect. The bread was toasted, and had a nice crackle, but even when I saved half for later, it still held up and only got really soggy there at the end. I'm going back to work my way through their sandwich menu.
Cute vibe and a decent size restaurant. You order at a counter upon walking in. We started with fried pickles- a regular guilty pleasure for me 🙃 they were great! I had the jambalaya and a cup of gumbo. It was all fantastic- flavors were on point. My jambalaya leftovers were also good the next day! My dining partner had the shrimp and grits- they were ok- not as fantastic as my jambalaya and gumbo. Would definitely go back!
I liked it. Seating is a bit awkward, and you bus your dishes to a small corner of the dining area. I ordered the shrimp and crawfish etoufee, and it was massive! Lots of shrimp and crawfish in the dish, with ample sauce and rice. I ate it the rest of the day. Would definitely go back for lunch.
